I just received this candle, today, so I can't comment on its longevity - but I CAN say that this candle smells great! I'd ordered another pine-scented candle from Amazon, which had an initial overpowering scent (and do I ever mean OVERPOWERING!!!). That candle is now burning low, so I searched for other options (sticking with "pine-scented"), and - after reading reviews - opted for this Village Candle "Christmas Tree." Glad I did, too. The candle arrived - well packaged - glass jar intact. I took the lid off, and the scent is a really pleasant SUBTLE fragrance of pine trees. Nice. I immediately lit the candle to see how it burns, if the scent changes, etc. Everything is good. The double wicks burn nicely - and the aroma of the candle, as it burns, is good. Very pleased w. this purchase. RECOMMEND

Large candle with two wicks, seems to burn well, slowly with FANTASTIC fragrance
There is nothing I dislike about this candle. Recently I transitioned to a 'faux Christmas tree' from the real, live trees we've always had. The one critical thing I missed was the fragrance of a live tree. THIS was the solution to that problem! Faint 'christmas tree' fragrance wafted through the living room where the tree is positioned and, since I don't like overpowering fragrance, was just enough to be enjoyable. The tree is 4 feet from the coffee table where the candle is positioned, so no chance of combustion to fear. It is visible from my couch for safety purposes. I am very happy with this purchase and it looks like it will last well into the New Year for the entire holiday season. Next year I may purchase a 'gingerbread' candle for Thanksgiving and then transition nearer to Christmas with this one. Happy Holiday Camper here.

A hint of Christmas
I enjoyed the musky and piny aromas that really make it smell like a tree fresh from the Christmas tree farm. I just wish it was a bit stronger scent like some other woodsy-scented candles.

Xmas tree scent candle
The scent was perfect. Would have given it 5 stars but the scent output was very strong. Had to place candle a distance from where we sat at night. Good value. Happy with purchase

I am big on reading reviews, so I definitely wanted to write a review for this. I read the reviews and I purchased it myself because I just recently bought an artificial tree and I wanted to have the smell of a real treat so I bought this because of reviews of others and I have to say I totally agree it keeps it cent when it’s let you get it smells like Christmas tree and I like the idea that I can have that smell whenever I light the candle on like buying an ornament that has a smell, and then it fades away at least with the candle, you always will have that smell as long as it is lit, highly satisfied, and I would highly recommend it

High Quality and Good Construction
Village Candle have made an excellent product that is certainly deserving of your time and attention. The initial price tag might put you off, however when you factor in the manufacturer’s claimed burntime of 170 hours, it works out to $0.15/hour. So if you were to say burn your candle for an hour a day, that’s 170 days, or almost 6 months. I consider this to be a pretty good deal. Overall construction and quality is high. The candle comes in a nice, solid glass jar with airtight resealable lid. This means all you have to do when you are done, is put the lid on for about 10 seconds to snuff out the flames. The dual wic design is something I had never encountered before, and it works as intended resulting in a more even burn. A 2 hour burn will always give you an even wax melt; a 1 hour burn slightly less so, but the excess was very minor. Speaking of burntime, 1-2 hours is more than enough to fill a room with it’s scent. I have a pretty open apartment and a once a day burn of 1-2 hours fills my entire space. The scent lingers for a decent number of hours once put out, but if you burn in the morning it will largely be undetectable by sundown; to you that is, to someone not already exposed to the scnet I can see it being noticable. So onto this specific scent: honestly it grew on me. I wasn’t sure how to feel about it at first, but after a couple of days of using it, I find it okey. The scent is very sweet, reminiscent of candy, mixed with that usually perfume-ish smell most scented candles have. The cedar is rather tough for me to detect, but I seem to be able to pick up hints of it after snuffing out the flames. While I’m not in love with this particular scent, I will absolutely be investigating Village Candle’s other offerings in the future. Village Candle have proven themselves to be a company that cares about quality. I’m very pleased with their product, and I will be a recurring customer. Give them a try! Note: due to the size of the large I recommend you have a barbeque lighter handy for when the candle gets near the bottom, otherwise it might be hard to light.
