Way too many cracks and defects... bricks holding the roof on!
We ended up with stray (Ferrell) chickens in our yard one day and soon after we had 6 baby chicks... so we caught them and stuck them in a spare bird cage before deciding to just buy them an actual home to keep them safe... I saw this one and it was a good price so I ordered without hesitation... it arrived quickly so we assembled right away.. here’s where the problems started... the quality of the wood itself is nice, the assembly process was very easy!!!! ANYONE can do it... As we were assembling we saw some areas are cracked and that really affected us being able to use it entirely!! We’re only getting 75% correct usage of this home. The right side of the house is much lower than the left side so the roof is not able to be screwed in on the right.... which is why we have 2 bricks holding the roof down... the screw holes are not lined up properly which is what cause the house to be lopsided this way... I attached pictures so you can see where the left panel is flush with the roof but the right side has about 1/2” gap that is preventing the screw and hinges to align... so the roof can be blown off in strong winds... The inside of the house on the upper level should have a panel in the middle so that mommy and babies have a nice dry warm place to sleep... BUT... the wooden slots are not lined up correctly so we could not add that piece.... so now mommy and babies are exposed to the rain and cold We’ve been having... and it breaks my heart that they get wet so we throw a shower curtain over during raining times... we would not be having to do this if the inner brackets were correctly installed, but they aren’t! I did contact the company who said they would send out the replacement parts so we could have fully functioning home for them.... but nothing ever arrived. I am disappointed... the box was in marvelous condition so I know it was not a shipping issue that caused all the cracks and defects... it was a quality control problem... I do love the house and understand things happen and this could be an isolated problem but I believe in the company fixing the problem.... not question the customers extensively and then not send the Replacements out! Would I buy another? I probably would since I don’t know how to build one myself and will probably need a bigger one soon if we plan to keep the babies but I hope in the future the company pays better attention to what they package and ship out... I paid 100 for something I believe is worth 50-60 that’s just my honest opinion... I gave it a 3 cause it is providing a safe place for our chicken family and they seem to be loving it... if there was just one issue I could live with it... but to have various issues from top to bottom I can’t ignore which is why I took off 2 stars.... the quality control & customer service needs a little help... This is a cute home... but definitely is needs to be better inspected before shipping to customer!! Too many problems to be an accident... overall we’re neutral with purchase... our new babies are safe from stray cats and that’s the main thing!

Had to use my own nails to hold this together properly
It’s not a bad product for the price o ce assembled with my own nails. This came with several parts loose. Apparently that’s common because this came with an insert saying that handling during shipping can cause some parts to come off. Rather than blaming shipping, assembling this with nails rather than what look like half staples would hold this together better.

Love the hutch for our 4lb Holland Lop
This hutch is handy for the price. Pro--Easy to assemble. Two kids 11 and 9 assembled it solo in just over an hour. It is space efficient and cute. The multiple access doors are very handy. The roof opening from both sides makes cleaning a breeze. The ramp seemed a little steep at first, but once our bun figured it out she had no problem navigating it. Cons--It is not overly sturdy. It needs a TOTALLY level surface or the doors do not line up. I am not overly confident that this will last more than a year. After a month of use it already has a few large splinters that have come off. The pull out tray seemed like it would be handy but we don't use it. We use straw as bedding and the straw ends up being too bulky to allow the tray to function.

Easy to assemble
Had to order these last minute after my cage for my 3 rabbits broke. All 3 were very easy to assemble, but you may need someone to help hold the roof up while you drill the screws in. For every hutch, the part on the top back piece of the hutch where you slide the divider in was always broken/bent, but I was able to fix it pretty simply each time. Some foam between the two wood pieces would probably solve this problem during shipping. I cut up some tarp and stapled it to the bottom of each cage to protect my floors. I was able to assemble each hutch without power tools, only needed a standard screwdriver with a little bit of force. So far the metal wire seems to hold their water bottles just fine. My rabbits seem to be quite happy with these, and I am as well.

It works for the purpose intended
I searched through several options sold on Amazon before deciding on this one. It fit perfectly in the space that we had provided. It was fairly easy to assemble, instructions are self explanatory. The cage is kept inside, so we placed it inside a washing machine drain pan to keep the mess from being on our hardwood floors. It fits perfectly inside this pan. Our rabbit has every toy imaginable and has still managed to chew on the ramp, but it has held up. We use the bottom for food/bathroom and upstairs for hay/toys. We use a full size cat litter pan for bathroom area, it sits perfect in the space behind the ramp. CONS: It does NOT have any predrilled holes, but that is not needed. Wood is pliable enough to insert screws without first drilling holes. The latches do not line up perfectly, but even so they still work. The roof and ramp are covered in this granular/faux roofing material that had alot of loose particles when it was first put together. I was worried about rabbit eating the granules, but it has been a month and not as many extra particles have fallen since it has settled. Rabbit was not too sure about upstairs at first, but has gotten used to it. There is not enough room between the ramp and the side of the cage for when she runs down the ramp. MAJOR CON: The water bottle does not sit flush where it is supposed to, so it has a slow drip no matter what angle it is sitting at. We have tried several bottles and all do the same thing. All in all, it works for the purpose intended. My rabbit is happy having more room to run, then the space she had before. She is able to come and go when we open the bottom door, and she enjoys that when it's her play time. It's not perfect, but for the price it is not entirely bad.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
This hutch is PERFECT. I needed an indoor cage/hutch for my large lop bunny. I put her in here at night and she (a free roam bun) doesnt seem to mind. My bun seems to LOVE this hutch. Although i dont really love the orange colour, overall i am so very pleased with the hutch.

Received damaged good(cracked ramp). Requested that only the part be replaced and received the full hutch. Very unpleasant to return the full hutch.
