Waste of money

Bought over a year ago did not set up and use because of health issues as soon as it was set up it would make small arch then nothing would have to set 10 minutes then tried again same would happen can’t believe Amazon would sell this junk. (Would like to update This review ) I took cover of unit & found inside that they zip tied a coil to a smaller set of wires that came unplugged during shipping I plugged them back in & zip tied coil to frame Working good now hope this update helps some one else out not Amazon fault manufacturers issues

Not bad for the price

Nice little machine for the price. Supplied fittings for the filter regulator are junk. Also the air gauge reads in mpa, had to replace that as well. Had to buy good fittings and a psi gauge, but what do you expect for the price. Everything can't be quality at that price. Haven't used it much but cuts very well. I even cut a piece of 5/8" bolt easily. So far I like this machine.

For the money this is a GREAT machine

I bought this unit on Prime day, from an Amazon "Warehouse Deal". It looked unused. It took me a couple of weeks to have enough time to set it up. If you look at the pictures you will see I did a VERY, VERY quick and dirty test. The piece of aluminum was clamped to a floppy piece of polycarbonate roofing over a wood pile. Not ideal but it worked. REMEMBER this was a quick and dirty test. I just needed to make sure the unit turned on and worked. Do not do something like this for real work. The assembly was 18"x4" by 1/4 inch piece of aluminum, with an 1/8 inch piece of steel clamped to it. Note Plasma cuts in general do not heat up the work very hot. The ground clamp was attached to the far end of the aluminum plate. The whole metal assembly would move when touched by the torch. Remember this was quick and dirty. I used .4 MPa air pressure, at 20 amps and was running off of 120vac. You can see the cuts and holes in the second picture. I have used a professional grade plasma cutter before, in a welding hobby class, at the local community college. I do welding for fun. All I can say is WOW. The RF start works like a charm. The plasma torch went through 1/8" steel like butter and the hole in the steel was easy to make. I was curious how it would work on the 1/4" aluminum and it punched through. If I had more air and current it probably would have done better but I just want to make sure the unit worked. I am amazed at how well this unit works for the price. It seems well thought out. The question is will it last. Some side notes: I used Loctite 545 Pneumatic and Hydraulic Fittings Thread Sealant on the fittings to the pressure gauge/filter. The gauge had no leaks. The gauge is also not screwed in from the factory, it needs sealant. As has been noted the hoses look they won't last very long but they do work. The current meter starts (off position) at 17 amps on mine. There is a timer or temperature setting that has the torch running for a few seconds after current is turned off to cool the torch and the work. This is a nice feature. The tips are replaceable.

Not for use on typical 110V circuit

Since it comes with adapter from 220v 6-50 plug to 110V 15A was expecting it to be versatile. Unfortunately even at the lowest setting (15-16) it will trip a dedicated 20A circuit breaker. My Miller spectrum 125C with built in compressor runs just fine on same outlets. Manual recommends 35A for 110v. Really limits use locations. Was able to severe 2" of 3/8" between breaker trips. Will have to install a 220v 25A circuit as recommended and see how how it works. Would recommend ordering extra consumables with stand off right away.

Seems OK for price

I have used a couple of times. Setup was easy enough and worked without issues. I cut some 1/8 and 1/4 plate steel and 22GA Sheetmetal. Worked well and saved me a lot of time. I hope it lasts. I won't use it a lot but was good out of the box. Seems worth the price at this point.

These units are good. But cheaper for a reason. First the Regulator is pure trash. I just can't stop it from leaking air, I'm pretty sure it has a crack that my old eyes can see. Really should be used as a 220v and it will cut anything. You need clean dry air, very important and only 60-65 psi. I did have to re-tighten all exterior nuts & bolts. QC isn't the best. that should never happen. But I saved money :) Thinking of Tig next.

Support eligibility is not a synonym of warranty

Cheap product and no information whatsoever about warranty. I will not recommend this seller to anyone. Used it once I received for about 15 minutes and everything seemed fine. Second time I use it, 4 months later, right away I hear a loud noise and not working anymore. But now that the ''support eligibility period has expired'' I have no recourse because even if I used a credit card providing extended warranty, it might not work because I can't provide any proof of a warranty period existing in the first place. I am really NOT happy with the product or Seller.
