To hang, or to carry, or...?

Given that not everyone wants to carry their wrenches with a handle, or hang them on a wall - both advantageous for those who need it - I would like to have seen consideration given for removing the handle. Sure, it's easy enough to do, but scoring along the top would have facilitated removal, and been a nice touch. As it is, the Wrench Rack won't fit front-to-back in my 25+ year old Craftsman rollaway top box, and side-to-side simply wastes too much drawer space. Don't get me wrong, my old school (40+ years), robust-handled Craftsman wrenches fit just fine, some snugly as others have pointed out, but the rack works. I won't return it because I can use it, but I'll need to do some fine tuning. Is it expensive? Relative to what? It isn't cheap, and I don't feel it's cheaply made. Would I recommend to a friend? Yes, and if I knew how they intended to use it, I might share my own experience. But the rack is functional and IMHO well made. That's my two cents' worth...not sure my opinion is worth that much.

Great product. Far more efficient tool storage than just laying wrenches flat. Clears narrow drawer. Highly recommended!

I bought one of these units for my SAE wrenches and my Metric wrenches to clean up my tool box. I had previously used the flat organizers but had run out of space in my rolling tool box. These units are FAR MORE EFFICIENT for storing the wrenches than the flat pocket sleeves. I was able to combine both sets of wrenches into one drawer and they still cleared to close even though they are the most narrow drawers at the top of my tool box. I highly recommend this product. Very well made. Tools fit securely (I have all Craftsman stuff going into a stainless steel 5' tall rolling Craftsman toolbox). I just wish I had gone to these years ago. Much easier access, more clearly marked (which is getting more important for me as my eyes age). Anyway, couldn't be happier. Great product!

Well made and sturdy. The labeling is easy to read. Handle feels very nice. I like the easy-to-see layout of this type of wrench storage. It can be rather cumbersome though, as it takes up quite a bit of space. Also, I found the slots to not be tight enough for my craftsman wrenches. It's not a huge problem as they stay in place without too much problem since the slots are slanted. But until I can find a better wrench roll, I think this is the best way I have found to store them and keep them portable.

Great for the tool box

Value for the money, great. Organized my tool box, I was able to purge multiple same size wrenches to family. The size indicator is easy to read. The right height for my tool box with wrenches in the slots. Worth the cost.. Now all I have to do is be consistent and put the wrenches back in the slots.

Just a honest review

But for the most part unlike what I've seen in the reviews everyone says it's loose. Well it's not they snap in very securely. These are great they angle it so you can see the size and the brand which I really like plus if your looking from a top view they have numbers on them which makes it even better. One more downside is they will take a pretty big footprint in your tool box.

Great stuff, but a tad loose

Perfect fit/capacity for most home garage's wrench inventory, but the locking tabs that hug the wrenches to the rack could be a little snugger and elastic. Giving 4/5 stars because if you hang the rack on the wall and aren't careful when you take it down for a job you could end up with a pile of wrenches on the floor.

These are "just OK". I bought these because it's very useful to have the wrench sizes on the rack and they seemed similar and less expensive than other captive wrench racks I have that work well. The problem with these racks compared to the other similar captive racks is that the plastic is too stiff so tools don't fit well in the rack making it hard to get wrenches in and out of rack and the wrenches don't fit well once they are in the rack. They are workable if you want to save some money but I recommend going a few more dollars per rack to buy the other manufacturer's product.

These are legit if your are looking for this style of wrench holder, take note of part number verse style as some have slight differences such as an extra slot for larger wrench size(s) or missing slot(s) for odd ball sizes.
