A Totally Enjoyable Product

I have been sculpting for years with a variety of high fire clay. I found myself a bit too decrepit to hoist it all in and out of my kiln anymore. Simply had to give it up. Knowing nothing about Sculpey I say this online and on a whim, purchased it. I was amazed at the ease of use. Next thing I know, I'm re-purchasing clay tools, reading books and watching you-tube videos. What fun! Working with this clay is pretty cool. It accepts fine detail, it is easy to paint, it hardens like a rock after baking; it's sturdy and forgiving. It's also clean. I sit with it in my lap while watching TV and whittle away at it on a tray. Don't get me wrong, I haven't made any masterpieces, but I have made totally acceptable little heads and bodies. As a complete beginner with this clay I am totally pleased.

SOFT sculpting clay

This is the best clay i have used so far. It’s very soft comparing to Sculpey(sculpey is hard as rock, you have to add a lot oil with it)

Too hard

I used to order this brand a lot, I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what. It was so hard I could hardly kneed it. Next time I’ll buy a pack at michaels or hobby lobby

just a drop or two and it is easy to work with

Takes a bit of working to get it ready, I did buy clay softner to help and it does, just a drop or two and it is easy to work with. I enjoy using this in my baby molds, still have some to learn. All told this is a good product. I would recommend this to anyone interested in sculpting dolls.

Great clay!

Shipping was a breeze, arrived in an manilla envelope. Clay isn't dry or flaky. Easy to condition. I love this formulation in comparison to original sculpey I was buying from walmart. This clay transformed my art into spectacular pieces! Will most definitely order again! Thank you!

Easy to use, bake and paint

My daughter has been looking for a plague doctor figure and since her birthday is coming up I figured I would try to make her one being that I like to be creative so after watching several YouTube videos I came across one that recommended the super sculpey clay and I bought it and I was so surprised with the amount of clay that was in the package and it's really easy to work with I've never used clay before and it was a breeze .that YouTube tutorial that I watched to make a plague doctor showed a lot of good tips and tricks to of molding the clay and really gives you an idea of what you can actually do with this stuff so I'm excited to order more and make more different little sculptures and things. it's really cool if you're looking to make custom pieces and it baked really easily and I painted over it and everything was just wonderful

Best sculpey clay I’ve tried! “Living doll”

I love working with this clay being softer and easier to knead, and work with! You can leave your work sit a long time and when you continue to work on your creation it doesn’t crack allowing you to add tiny details! I also use super sculpey but I’d have to give living doll the best review! Thank you!
