This is a sturdy and secure pole

I read the reviews about this pole being insecure and easily coming out. That was not my experience. If installed correctly, the black plastic band at the bottom of the pole secures this pole into a standard anchor light receptacle. It is very secure. We used it with a dive flag and forgot to remove it. I did not notice until we were doing 30 mph across the lake. The flag was whipping but the pole was not going anywhere. Others must not know how to secure an anchor light as this is just an extendable anchor light pole with flag attachments. I am very happy with the purchase.

Very nice, easy to use!

Works great with my flag! Some said they had problems with this coming out, but it has been rock solid for me up to 25 or 30mph.

Fish bait

Would not fit in my nautical light socket. This pole is too big of a diameter. It also has two socket holes in the pole whereas my boat has a three prong set up. I packed it away to return it in our boat bag. When I stepped out at the dock, the pole sunk quicker into the depths than Davy Jones to his locker. $20 wasted.

High quality, with a small adjustment to make it perfect.

The flag clips slide up and down, so I had to add electrical tape for a good squeeze, it's a solid well built pole, should last a long time. I'm using it on an 18 foot round-a-bout on the lowest position. So it can telescope up to a nice height.

As described, but not skookum

I'm not using it on a boat. I have it circle-clamped to the landing of my apartment. The clamps do not cinch down tight enough to prevent the wind from moving them. So the flag I have consistenty droops to about half mast over the course of a week. It's not that big a deal to slide it up, but it is annoying. At some point I'll find an old bicycle tube and MacGyver it, but honestly I shouldn't have to.

I would not recommend having this on when going over 20mph

Fit perfectly into my 2001 Bayliner 185 Capri. I would not recommend having this on when going over 20mph. It was very close to falling off several times, which is what I suspect happened to my last flag pole. That is a little annoying, but not that big of an issue for me.

dont be a racist with this pole

this proudly flies all flags except the confederate flag. a passenger on my boat tried hoisting the flag when seal team six emerged from under my bow and executed 7 skinheads in my cuddy. Since then I have run background checks and used this flagpole to fly the good old stars and stripes
