Horrible Assembly Instructions

It looks great and is a very solid piece once assembled… But that assembly though. It should have taken me an hour MAX to put this together, but it literally took me all night. Parts were mislabeled or not labeled at all. The instruction manual that accompanied it referred to the pieces by the incorrect part name which made for a slew of mistakes. I just ended up using the initial diagram picture to guide my assembly. Do not purchase this if you’re not very handy!

I'm giving one star because this is so cheap I can't believe I paid over two hundred dollars for it! When we went to put it together, I was excited because my teenage and tween son put it together. The excitement vanished as soon as they went to put on the handles. The screws are just a little too short, causing the handles to wiggle. You need washers, which isn't a big expense, just a pain to go get. Some of the borings on the handles were small, so some screws were tough to tighten. Also, just in the putting together/putting it where it would go process, it got really dinged. We put it together on carpet, and I was careful to put it into place. A closer examination of the materials are some kind of easily dented mdf. The only reason I didn't get this at a furniture store is that I needed the size and wanted the 4 drawers. If I had it to do over-since I paid so much anyways-I would have compromised on drawers and bought it at a furniture store. Ugh. Don't buy!
