Good product

Keep water from entering my electrical pipe

Seems to work as advertised.

When I uncovered my decorative water fountain this spring, it leaked—a lot. I researched on the net until I found a caulk that seemed appropriate. Most caulks are not suitable for underwater use. I used the Star Brite caulk on the cracks. it's not a beautiful job but the leaks have stopped. The stuff is expensive but I am a happy customer.

Confusing Directions

I initially requested to return this as I just cut the end off the tube and tried to pierce the seal like on any other tube of caulk but couldn't and thought it was defective. However, what the directions were trying to say is you have to actually screw off the tapered delivery tube and then cut off the end of the tube and then replace the delivery tube. Then the product worked great and I am going to keep the first tube.

Easy to use

I was using 3m 4200 to seal all items on my boat and was struggling to squeeze it out with a caulk gun. I didnt want to use silicone but this stuff is awesome. I used it to reseal my cabin doors and port windows.

Stayed tacky on work surface much longer than advertised

. I've used it before and it worked but I guess I got a bad batch or something. Idk but it stayed tacky and sticky for much longer than it was suppose to and it picked up tons of particles of dirt and debris. I'm going to eventually have to cut it out and redo. Extra work:/

Really floats my boat

As long as you pick out all the old caulk and clean the hull seems with 99% isopropyl and a stiff brush before application, this goo works great. My 1973, Sears Canada, 12 foot aloomium boat has never been this water tight
