This did not work for me - I recommend going to a specialty company

What I learned: it is very unlikely this wheel will fit your chair, even if the dimensions appear right (as was the case with mine). I was so fortunate to see in another review a mention of a company called service casters in PA - they were amazing, explained all the issues and I sent a sample wheel. They evaluate for length of stem, pitch of threading and height of wheel so that it is going to fit, all in the spirit of good service. They are so friendly and professional. I learned you must usually must replace all wheels at once if you want a steady chair that won't wobble - and they are shipping my wheels to me at a cost about equal (per wheel) to the one posted here. Thank you to the other reviewer who was able to steer me right.

i like the look and price of these items. I used them to replace caster that came with my breakfast set chairs, which kept bending because of the angle they had. These Shepherd casters look much better and the chairs seem more sturdy.
