Smaller then expected

Small train set, I thought I was ordering a red train, like in the picture (my daughter was asking for red train) but got black had to make due with it. Nice little train my daughter loves playing with them.

This is an excellent restaurant toy for train-fans

For $8, this is a really great toy train. My son is obsessed with trains and I bought 4 sets of these (ended up with a few different colors) for restaurants. We have been playing with them, at least once a week, for the last 2 years and I think they are great. The different car options are great and they are small enough that 4 sets can fit into a small cosmetics bag. Because the cars are plastic, the sets a very lightweight, which I love for restaurant purposes. I initially didn't like that the engine was metal because it made everything heavier, but it does make it more stable while the kids push them around. The connectors are not the strongest things in the world, but I have 12 cars (not including the engines), and only 3 have broken in 2 years of constant play. I feel that I really can't expect more from an $8 toy. My kids don't play with these as pull-backs...they just roll them all over the table. The connectors connect well and my kids have not gotten frustrated by disconnections (like some other small toy trains we have tried). When we have friends with us, this set really keeps the kids occupied. I actually just ordered 2 more sets as back-up/gifts. I think this is an excellent buy for little train fans.

Not the colors I wanted

The media could not be loaded. My grandson is all into trains ???? like crazy to the point that he’s reading books about them and downloading video games to play with them.. So I got him a few different sets of trains with their own tracks not too sure how it is going to play out!! But these look cute enough and they where red and black ones I thought I ordered he’s favorite colors ????????‍♀️????‍♀️

Picture of product not what you get

Bought this to top my son's birthday cake. He really loves engines with cow catchers (or pilots) on the front. Both photos of this product feature an engine with one. The pack we received did not have one of course. I realize the description says 'multiple styles' but I would have appreciated a choice between styles or at least photos of all of the available styles so I'd know what the odds are of getting the one I wanted.

Stocking stuffer

Our son likes trains so we put this in his stocking with some other stuff. I didn't really see him play with it much and I didn't give it much thought. I guess it's not a great review but it didn't blow up or kill anyone when we opened it so there's that. It's a cute little toy if you have a child that's into trains. I didn't knock down the stars for the review because I don't think it's fair to give criticism if you can't be specific and it's not warranted so take the five stars with a grain of salt. I didn't see him sleeping with it by his side so it probably isn't a five star toy. What do you expect for a few dollars.

Nice but was blue (not red like the product photo)

Arrived on time and looks nice on its own, but the train was blue rather than red like the photo, so my son's birthday cake didn't match/look the way we had intended. Also, the hooks to attach the cars are not super strong, but I think that bothers me more than it bothers my son.

Quality isn't great, but it's decent.

This train was the perfect size for my son's birthday cake. The engine is sturdy, but the cars feel cheap, so $10 seems a bit much. It assembles easily and my boy loves it. It seems like there are different colors, but you don't get to choose. I wish I could have picked the one I liked best. Even so, I would buy it again.
