Perfect gift for horseshoes player

The set was a birthday gift for my husband - an INFINITELY difficult person for whom to purchase anything. I know this b/c he is NOT shy about displaying lack of enthusiasm for "misses". He lost his 50-year-old 'shoes in our last move. As soon as he tried this new set, he was happy again and planning more practice and play sessions.

They look sharp…right out of the package!

They look great, the colors are nice, the finish chips off in big chunks on the poles, looks like little shark bites all over them after one game. Glitter silver flakes were raining down with each ringer, the shoes themselves are a little light weight as well. Worked good enough for our beach trip but Ive going to replace the poles, find some heavier shoes….well I guess that means replace this whole set? Made in China (and it shows)

They stand up well

I went through 2 other sets of horseshoes, purchased elsewhere. In both cases the shoes actual broke apart. These shoes have had more use than the other two sets combined and are standing up well. The only negative thing I can say about these shoes is that they have no improved my game any...lol
