Classic comfort

This adirondack chair has the classic comfort that I love obout this style of chair. Nothing is more relaxing than leaning back in an adirondack, with the weight off my feet and cold drink or cup of tea. It is the quintessential campfire chair. This is the first adirondack that I have seen with a cup holder built into one arm. I didn’t know how much I’d use that (you can totally leave it off if you won’t), but I realize now that it is nice to have a place for a drink so I don’t knock it off the arm and just generally to have more room on the arm for my book, snack, etc. It is a hefty chair to move around so I appreciate that is folds up for ease of moving it around and also for storage. Assembly was quick for me with the major pieces like the seat and back already put together. It only took me about 15 minutes to unbox, attach the arms and legs and get everything cleaned up. It’s a nice looking chair, I like the clean lines and grey color. The “wood” looks and feels pretty authentic and has the unbeatable advantage of never needing to be repainted.

Buyer Beware!

Great chair however I have yet to discover how exactly it folds. There are no pictures of it folding or any instructions in the provided user guide. Customer services said that they’d have to check with “tech support” before answering my question. Ummm…once and if the chair is shown to actually fold I’ll adjust my rating. ???????? *Update: Finally heard back from customer service 2 weeks later and they have confirmed with tech support that this chair does not fold. However the pictures above suggest that it does. Hopefully they’ll change that before more customers mistakenly buy this chair.
