Great idea

The idea behind these is great. A sturdier fit then making the "A" frame then the factory way w/out them. They fit too tight I needed a hammer installing the first time. I spread the ladder channels to make it an easier fit but not to loose. I'd buy them again.

Good Idea. Poorly executed.

I really, really like my Little Giant products but these brackets let me down. I expected them to slip in the trestle components easily but with a moderate amount of force. I expected them to be "snug". They would not slip in at all. I ended up using a sledge hammer to modify the flair of the bracket just to allow me to hammer the bracket into the trestle. One side of one bracket never seated properly. It was sturdy. Removing the bracket again required the use of a sledge and piece of wood to pound the bracket out of the trestle... the piece of wood was shattered into splinters before the bracket broke free. I really expected a bit closer tolerance with maybe a little persuasion with a rubber mallet. I did not expect to have to use a five pound sledge for persuasion. Before I use them again, I will put each in a vice to get to an acceptable tolerance for insertion.

Simple and works well, but the price is borderline insulting

Four stars because their ladder system is flexible and they do they make this available as it's a very useful addition. Four (not five) stars because its price is absolutely ridiculous. Come on guys, it's just a piece of stamped metal, try not to gouge so much.

Perfect fit

Got myself a Little Giant ladder and immediately purchased these to be able to use the trestle configuration of the ladder. Lightweight, east to install and sturdy to keep the ladder stable when in use. They came with a little band to keep them together with the ladder when not in use, great item and easy to use.

Not plug and play!!

Nice idea but not plug and play!! Had to bend/adjust the fit for both in order for them to align properly. Fortunately I had read the reviews prior to receiving them so I was prepared for the event!!

They work...

I think they should be included with the ladder, but I really like being pimped for an extra $20. They work and it is nice to have one ladder that serves more than one purpose. This Little Giant doesn't seem to have the same build quality as my older LG ladders.

Great addition to Ladder

With the addition of a plank this makes the ladder a scaffold. Awesome for painting
