Too shallow

I was hopeful this hat would provide a way to keep my temperature cool in the heat BUT I never got to try it as the hat was way too shallow to fit my head; more like a skull cap fit than a ball hat. Seemed well constructed but just too small.

Nice hat but doesn't cool for very long

This is a great idea but it doesn't cool for very long on a hot day. If you stop every now and then and cool the hat off with new cool water then it works great. But it doesn't take long for the water to get hot on your head and then you lose the cooling effect. It is a good quality hat and I wear it a lot outside without wetting it because the white fabric helps keep my head cool.

Cool Subtle and Stylish!

This is a stylish and great hat! I love that the black looked the same after soaking in water and when dry so no one could tell it was for cooling. It had a nice cooling effect and lasted a long time. I have a health condition that makes me sensitive to heat and I’m excited to have this option and could find some thing attractive and not bulky. I wore this on a boat tour in 80-85 degree weather for 3 hours and it was still cool when I got home.

This MS patient says no

I really wanted this hat to work because it was recommended for patients like me. I live in southern CA which is dry desert climate. This just didn't work for me. It doesn't fit snugly enough against my head. Maybe this hat works better for people who have extremely short hair? Plus, the bill being wet was super unpleasant and difficult to wring out with the rest of the hat to activate the cooling element, so it was dripping water on my face. Returning this.

Great for hiking and running

Great fit. Perfect for hiking and running. I usually get runners headaches (overheating) but this cooling cap kept my head cool for 4-5 hours on a hot summer day.

Not a miracle, but helpful

Got this for my wife. She said that it does keep her cooler during runs in the Sacramento heat -- not as much as we thought it would, but enough to be helpful. It also absorbs sweat better than a regular cap. I bought a similar HyperKewl cap in a different style. I had the same reaction: not a miracle, but still worthwhile. We will both keep the caps and continue to use them.

Works okay.

Works okay. Obviously not like an AC unit blowing on your head but it's better than nothing. Must re-wet every hour or so, otherwise it just feels like a regular hat. The fit is good, for people who say this hat is too small they must have some very big heads.

My husband loves this hat for work, wet it down with cool water and it helps to cool you down in the hot weather. He takes it almost every day. Works great as a hat and he has it to help cool him down
