I rarely write reviews. But this processor is a rare bird. My adjectives fail to express the sheer delight this processor has brought into my hard-working kitchen. I replaced my old processor because I wanted a larger container/carafe to process large batches without having to empty it every two seconds. This ninja is LARGE! Fantastic. Aside from that, the three feed tube sizes are perfect. It really is a treat to have so many options. Being a bread maker for 50 years, I never thought I would use it to make bread. But here I am, it makes my bread making so easy. I’m shocked. I still turn the dough out on my pastry board, just for old time sake. There’s nothing like hand kneading bread dough. The chopper really does a uniform job as advertised. What a treat that is! Also, the slicing blade, being infinitely adjustable, is really amazing. I find myself using it to slice leftover meat into deli, thin slices, rather than using my Hobart professional slicer. BTW, I recommend purchasing the version that includes the storage box for the blades. I made an additional little box out of a food container, so I don’t have to store the sharp blade in the carafe. All the features and the design of this magic machine are really intelligent. The feed tube is at the front of the carafe. Imagine that! Too convenient. No one ever thought of that before. And the suction cups are really, really strong, and really really necessary when Processing cookie dough or bread dough. I hope I’ve adequately described my sheer delight with this amazing food processor. What an impressive investment I made. ????

Excellent Buy If You Have The Storage Space

This is a fantastic food processor if you have the storage space for it. The motor is more powerful than I expected and does an excellent job at quickly chopping or shredding ingredients. This will do enough shredded cheese for a 16" pizza in seconds! As well as prepping ingredients, this has become my husband's go-to machine for smoothies. It does a far better job than any blender we've had for processing frozen fruit without strain. As well as being a good machine, I really appreciate the included storage box for the various attachments. With my previous food processor, I would store all of the blades and attachments inside the canister when I wasn't using it as they were too awkward and easily lost to put elsewhere in my tight-on-storage kitchen. This box is a good central location for them that keeps them clean and out of the way in one central location when not in use. However, this leads into my cons. My main cons on this are the storage requirements and the attachment to help you push food down the chute. Both the storage box and the machine itself are LARGE. As this is to be expected with something that's advertised as being extra large, I don't want to knock down my rating for this. However, you should be aware that this may not be a great buy if you have a smaller kitchen or don't have many storage options. I am currently storing the machine itself on my island as the machine plus canister is too tall to fit on my counter underneath my upper cabinets. Additionally, the storage box is almost the size of the machine itself. This may be best if you have a large pantry to store appliances in. As well as being large, I found the plastic tamp to push food down into the canister underwhelming. It works well if you're using the regular blade, but I did find that it isn't quite long enough to fully push through items when used with the shredder and slicer. I ended up with about a half inch of cheese and vegetables that spun around on top of the blade itself and were unable to make it down into the canister. Overall, although it is large to store and has a minor drawback in the tamp, this is still an excellent buy if you do a lot of cooking. It is a very powerful food processor that quickly chops, shreds, and slices ingredients and can even do a better job at making smoothies than a blender!
