For the money this is well worth it. It is well constructed, easy to put together, and works as a 4 stage hand pump should. I've purchased many Hatsan products and they offer a mid range cost for airguns and other products for airguns. Customer service is good for their products. The 4 stage hand pump should have tape used where needed for a good seal.

well built and documented

This pump's cost surprised me at first, but once I had it in hand I realized it was a good value. finely manufactured and includes quick-release hardware which the Hatsan rifle needs. the manual is well done, and I learned more about my FlashPup rifle from this than from anything included with the rifle. ha. I am very weak now but I can still get quite a lot of pressure in the rifle with several pumps. I also have a small SCUBA tank - I fill the rifle with this hand pump until it gets too much for me, then top up the pressure with the SCUBA. Saves my pressurized SCUBA pressure for the hard part! Fast Shipping, well packaged, tons of extra seals and parts. Highly recommend,

Teflon all threads first!!!

I assume the prior reviews were written by first time pcp pump. Owners. All pcp. Are finicky. First thing I recommend is aplliying tephlon tape. To all threads. And them checking for leaks. This is what I have done to this model. And it works perfectly. So much faster then the cheap 3 stage models with a fraction of the energy spent to achieve full pressure.

Not worth the time...

Sent what appeared to be a returned item with missing parts. Also, be sure and buy the adapter for Hatsan products or you'll be waiting for that as well. Poor instructions and from the videos I watched the effort involved to charge a pellet rifle is absurd. Get a compressor if you want to go with PCP air guns.

Could not get it to work.

Attaching the air hose to the pump is very tricky. No matter what I tried, my unit would leak when I tried to fill my gun. I worked on it for two hours because I wanted it to work. No go. I have a new Hatsan carbine and I wanted a Hatsan pump. Also, the handles are very hard. I had to put on my biking gloves during the pressure test!

Junk.

Junk! Don’t buy. Seals failed on the first use. Took breaks to keep the temperature down while filling. Could not fill to 3000psi and now it won’t hold pressure at all. Tried to take it apart to replace the seals. Definitely not made to be taken apart easily. There is no place to safely hold the cylinder to remove the bottom piece to get to the seals. Very disappointed.
