Second one is holding up very well

Worked well while it was working. Failed after less than 2 months of service. The failure was a severely torn diaphragm, which also caused damage to one of the two pump bodies. It was still under warranty, but I'm not sure I really want an identical pump that will likely suffer a similar fate. The seller would not offer a refund after 60 days (it was about 63 days), so I was forced to return it for replacement. Also, please note that the pump was used exactly as intended, with a load of only 3.2 PSI. Edit: 1/23/2019 The replacement pump has now been in service for over a year and a half, and continues to work well. I'm adding 2 stars to my initial review. It seems there's some amount of infant mortality to these pumps, but good ones seem to last a while.

Fantastic amazingly powerful pump!

Much better then I expected.. I have the AP-60 and it truly is a powerhouse I have a fish room with approximately 30 aquariums five or take and this will run sponges on ALL without a hiccup.. I’m very pleased

Works well

This pump produces plenty of air for my two ponds 2600 gallons & 1800 gallons and the fish just love swimming through the bubbles that are produced by the aeration stones. This is my second one, after I let the last one stay out during the winter for several years it quit, I don't really have a location where I can put the aeration pump so I just have to take it in for the winter and hope for the best for the fish. The only other method would be to run a longer hose 60ft out of the garage which could be an option this year.

Great diffuser pump

I love this pump, it’s quiet and moves a lot of air through my two diffusers and keeps my one acre pond nice and fresh. This is my second pump and I have it on a timer. It runs 5 hours a day now and is working fine. My last pump was working 24/7 and lasted about three years. The intake filter plugged up and it quit working. I didn’t clean the filter, so it’s my bad.

Quiet and Quality!

Just bought this 5500cu/in model to replace 2 of the vivosun 950gph for my 4 5gal DWC buckets with 8in airstones, not only is it less sound n vibrations but it gives alot more air bubbles. 6 out of 5 stars!

Powerful and QUIET!

I had been using the Superluft 65-lph piston pump to operate 16 sponge filters and air stones for about 6 months. The Superluft put out enough air but had a very noisy hum and ran hot from the first day of use. It started to develop a metallic rattle and the hum got louder, so I decided to try to the Danner AP60. What a nice upgrade the AP60 is. Significantly quieter and puts out much more air than the Superluft. The filters and airstones are boiling even with some of the air being bled off at the manifold. The air is no longer hot. The noise that the pump makes is like my 2-outlet adjustable Hagen Maxima pump on full blast. The pump housing is metal and built very sturdy. Time will tell how long this pump will last, but I'm optimistic based on its overall quality.

Awsome Pump!! Great price!!

this pump is awsome!! i have a 1/4 acre pond and in the past i used a septic air pump. when i priced them they were Expensive!!!!!! i decided to take a gamble and get this one and i am Very satisfied!! it is a hell of alot bigger then the one i used in the past and 1/4 of the price!! i have this pump attached to an air stone and it is very quiet and very Powerfull!! it also came with a parts list for a complete rebuild and if this pump ever gets to the point that it cant be rebuilt i will Definatly go back with a Danner pump!!!!

Working great in my pond

Seems to be working great in my pond, definitely noticed a difference in water quality. Pump is quiet and power efficient so very happy.

Disappointed in the longevity

I have had this less then 2 months and it is dying. I will need to replace this by the end of the month. Very disappointed when your using this on a pound you should not have to replace a pump every couple months

poor product

bought this unit to replace a laguna pt1620 30 watt air pump. this danner unit was very noisy for a week before settling down to a tolerable noise level. for a 50 watt air pump this unit produces less air than the laguna pump before it broke down
