A weapon? Garden tool?

This was ok as a serving tool, but it is much more like a weapon or some sort of gardening tool. This is a surprisingly heavy object. The handle was a bit too long and the flat serving surface a bit too short for my comfort. The serrated edge is very sharp! I will keep this in the unused tool section of my kitchen and continue using my old server with rounded edges, because using this one makes me nervous. I could slice and serve a pot roast with this. Maybe it's meant for slicing through thick solidified fondant?

More for cake

I read reviews before buying this specifically to cut a pie I made. A reviewer mentioned how it's flexible. It is not. Probably better for cake. Well made. Nice spatula, but not flexible. I sometimes wonder if the reviews on Amazon are actually about the item I'm looking to buy. Often they appear to be about a different product.
