Good ideal.

Good idea but still needs to be refined in construction and design. Bottom section that hold and release when your ready to dump the hot coal needs improvement. Was a bit of a struggle to hold the coal and to release. Should be designed so it would not be so difficult. After all, dealing with hot coal, it can create a problem causing injury. This could be a great product not just good idea.

Nice little Chimey

It's a pretty each to use charcoal chimney and its certainly heat resistant (accidentally made very large fire), but I will say the rack that keeps the charcoal up has a bit too large of empty spaces in between. the charcoal fell through a few times when trying to load it.

You get what you paid for

Construction is not rigid. Will slightly bend with heat from charcoal. The easy release does not work when it’s filled with charcoal. Overall the quality is in line with the cheap price. If you want a better quality product at a reasonable price go to your local Academy/ Bass Pro / cabelas instead of shopping online.

1) Great if you use brickettes. 2) If you use lump not so good. A lot of it falls through the grate.

easier than dumping!

I love this style of charcoal lighter, but have struggled when it comes to dumping the hot coals out. This solution works well for me. The lever-style allows me to gently release the coals, so there is no shower of sparks, and there are no hot coals that go rolling away and have to be retrieved. An excellent improvement over the other chimney lighters.

Not the best, grate likes to fall out

Not the best, there could have been some type of nut or retainer on the little lever that holds the great up. It likes to fall out of its hole and drops the coals as the chimney warps a little which can make it a pain to use.

Easy to use and durable

This is perfect for getting my charcoal started. Using this my charcoal burns evenly. Once coals ate burning pop the latch and lift.
