Decent product.

Had to pin it to the tree with thumb tacks so bugs could not crawl underneath.

Inexpensive tree wrap

This product is what my tree expert uses. So far it has worked well on my new tree and it was easy to install. No rain since I used it so I cannot comment on what could happen when it gets wet. Otherwise a good, cheap option to other products on the market.

Not quite stuck in the middle.

This was very difficult to apply to my trees. The instructions suggest masking tape but did not work once my sprinklers came on. You will need to apply the goop to create a base for some form of remaining in place. I recommend you have more than the smaller Tanglefoot goop on hand if you have several trees targeted for use.

OMG THIS WORKS!!!!!

We had a million, no ten million, no fifty million , no ... you get the picture -- caterpillars. First they were so small they looked like the period in a sentence. But they did all eventually get to about 3 inches -- ugh. Disgusting. They didn't turn into butterflies either. And they poop, who knew? And it is slippery poop all over the deck of my house ---- YUCK. Any way -- this stuff works. Use it with the goopy stuff it pairs with --- you wrap it around the tree in one band -- not cover the tree just wrap it around once, use the sticky stuff and BOOM --- caterpillars go somewhere else. Literally priceless.

Tanglefoot products are the best

I am very impressed with Tanglefoot products. This wrap takes a little effort to use- I had to use some twine to secure it to my trees, but once on and applying the sticky stuff it stays where I put it. Numerous ground insects have attempted to get up the tree but were stopped by this method. I like it

A must for younger trees in Colorado winter

We wrap this around our young trees between Thanksgiving and Easter to prevent sun burn. Trees are healthy!

Impossible to use

Spent about ten minutes with it and threw it in the garbage. Outrageously difficult to get on a small tree and there is no way to get it to stay put. Might be fine for banding a very large tree if you need to do that for some reason. Useless for newly planted.

Not Remitely Waterproof

The ad said that this product was waterproof, but one night of rain soaked all of the banding I had done and it all rippled and came loose from the trees. It might work well for good weather… But it does not stand up to moisture at all. Not worth the price.

great idea

It was a great idea but very hard to keep paper around tree trunk. First rainfall and the weight of the rain brought them all down. Looking to find better ways to keep the wrap around the trunk

Ants still here

It didn’t stop the ants. I had to go out and buy diatomaceous earth which works.

It didn't work at all

It was a total waste of money, we stapled it to the tree and put the barrier on and it still slipped down the tree when it got wet. Not worth a penny.
