Removes fur if fur is 1.5+ inches long.

Gathers fur from my nearly-medium hair big cat, but not my tiny baby in the photo. HOWEVER, she does love being bet with the glove. At the very least, it will massage your pet. At most, it will remove excess fur from a pet that HATES being brushed. Needs small size!

They work great without hurting your fur baby. Be careful your fur baby will not want you to stop brushing them. Great value.

Not as advertised

Didn’t work like they advertised. It doesn’t pull the hair off. I have another brand of the same type of gloves and they both are the same. It literally doesn’t remove as much hair. My dog likes it because it gets down to the itchy spots. Closer to the skin but no more hair than the other hair removal gloves.

Seems to gather a lot of fur when petting/brushing our dog

These gloves fit well (and I don't think the size is critically important since you're just wearing them to groom your pet) and seems to gather up the loose fur well. They're not very easy to get the fur off of, though. We Googled how to clean them and will try the tip of wetting the gloves slightly, and grooming until the glove is full of fur before trying to clean. Our dog likes to be petted when we're wearing them.

Almost perfect solution

I decided on these gloves simply because I needed something that works the first time. And after lots of research, this was the closest I could get to a sure deal. I have two cats: one who doesn't mind being combed and the other one who abhors it. Unfortunately, the one who abhors it has also been throwing up hairballs. I've tried every other solution, but now I'm wishing I would have tried this one first. The cat doesn't love the gloves, but she does tolerate it and I'm able to get a lot further in grooming her than I ever was before. Mind you, the one who didn't mind being combed absolutely loves the gloves. An added plus is that removing hair from the gloves is easy.

My Dog Loves This

My dog gets overly excited every time she sees me grabbing the gloves. She enjoys getting petted with the gloves on and the gloves do a good job grabbing fallen hairs. My dog is a medium-haired lab mix the gloves probably work better with long-haired dogs. I just focus on using it as a grooming tool after using the Furminatorto de-shed her

Nice! The cat likes them and they work well for intended purpose.

There is nothing to dislike about these. I ordered XL as I am a woman with large hands. They have a velco strap at the wrists which would help if someone with smaller hands would want to use these. I liked them so much that I ordered a pair for my sister whose family includes a dog and a cat. She reported that her dog (who sheds little) enjoyed the "doggie massage" they provided. No report back from her yet as to her cat's opinion. I used them for a cat who sheds a lot. (I should have taken a photo of the fur that came off on the gloves -there was an abundance of it). The cat evinced enjoyment of his "kitty massage" . The big bonus is that the area rug was thereafter not spread with cat hair. The rug is red so the cat fur quite apparent. Previously, the rug needed vacuuming every day. There is reason to think that (if the gloves are utilized frequently), there will now be significantly less fur vacuumed up from the carpet which will be nice for me, perhaps easier on the vacuum cleaner.

Not the best choice for short haired dogs

They really don't work on short haired dogs. My Frenchton just thought they were another chew toy.

Best grooming gloves ever!

Used these on my Blue cattle dog, got so much more hair out of him then any other brush used. Shapes to his body well while grooming & fit my hands well, sizing was spot on & true to description

Work great!

Both cats and dogs look forward to a rubdown. Removes loose hair effectively . I would buy again. I do this outside as it is just less mess. Inside is a bit slower because I will do a session and then use vacuum to get hair off gloves.

Rubber comes off

Gloves work well but after 5 months the rubber is coming off rendering them useless. Expensive to have to replace every 5-6 months.
