missing parts replacement

Previous to the order for the screw nails I had purchased a carpet strip from the same company, M D Building products. The reason I ordered the box of screw nails, the set of screw nails that were supposed to be included with the carpet strip...the screws were missing, so had to purchase more screw nails to replace those missing in the carpet strip order

Smaller Nailing Head Then Others

Was having trouble finding a pewter colored molding nail so tried these. They are more the color of chrome or stainless. It did notice they have a smaller head or nailing surface than others I have used. Depending on the size of the metal molding nailing hole, that could be an issue.

Not the color in the photo!

I've come to the realization that the manufacturer (M-D Building Products) is selling these screw nails with a very bad photo. The photo depicts more of an oil rubbed bronze, which builders know is the dark brown that is being sold in everything from plumbing trim, exterior metal products, and even some kitchen appliances, and bronze is brown. These screw/nails are NOT BROWN, as depicted in the ad. These screws are a less shiny chrome color. They would NOT WORK with anything in a bronze color. The description may be right when they call it "Pewter", but those pictures are NOT THE SAME PRODUCT! So annoying. It's been three weeks now of looking around and waiting for these to ship, so I guess this is what I'm stuck with. Highly irritating.

For metal trim on stairs or carpet, or anything,, You need these nails!! Stores sell the trim but rip you off buying 6 nails... Grab a bunch here!! Other nails are just not right,,
