Exact replacement

I like that this is an exact replacement for a switch that was originally installed in 1995, but which broke recently. On the downside, it is noisy, making a loud "clack" sound when the rocker switch is moved.

Great Paddle Switch, Best Cost for This Color

Purchased this switch to convert a space with two light switches into an area with three paddle switches (these two and a single). This switch is fairly easy to use if you have some experience with running electrical. I found it to be the place to get this color (Ivory) of switch at a good price. I would have had to special order it from our local big box store (only carried almond), and it would have cost me a little more and taken longer. The switch has been in place for more than two months now and work fantastically. I will get another if I need to do a similar job any time soon.

The first Leviton product I'm disappointed with.

I've been installing Leviton products for many years and never had a complaint about any of them.....until this one. These switches have a nice snap when you flip them and make a reassuring click, but for some reason, the lower switch occasionally fails to make contact when you turn it on, requiring an extra push. The top switch operates normally. I had hoped that it was just built a little tight, and things would improve with use, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Almost Quiet But Not Perfect

Was looking for a quiet switch. This is best that I have found but not quite there. Most have a loud snap, this one still clicks but somewhat muffled. Not as smooth as a single pole rocker but better than others.

I like the modern looks of the switch

I like the modern looks of the switch, but it looses a star since the switches are "soft" - they don't have a nice positive CLICK between On and Off. I don't think it's defective, I think it's just by design.

Good switch, but be sure on the exact color you want

Switch is good quality but make sure you confirm your real color. You can see in the photo that the dual switch is darker than the single switch, which the local hardware store also calls ivory.

Quality Switch Product

My customer wanted to update their switches - from the photo, you can see the old switch in my hand and the new switch installed. I've ordered and installed these a few times - work well and all customers are happy!

The body of the switch is surprisingly bulky and deep…

The switches are solid and nice. The body, however, is NOT suitable for a shallow electrical device box, as it consumes most of the space behind it, leaving no room for wiring.
