Great Concept - Nut I forgot I do not have narrow mouth jars!

Silly me - I bought this but I do not have a narrow-mouth jar to test it! I do not want to spend money on a whole box, so until I do I am just going to leave the pictures here and comment on the fact that the design seems like a great idea.

Works Well

This shaker works well and is a cute improvement over my previous shaker. The tip securely holds onto the top. You just have to make sure the top is snug on the mason jar. It’s a good value for the price.

Overall, I like this

This works perfectly, it is so easy to use and clean. I used to hate using our shaker (yes, a bit lazy of me), this is so much easier. I just put the mason jar in the dishwasher and give the top a quick rinse or put it in the dishwasher too. Price is decent.

Seals well, a few issues

This shaker seals well, thanks to a nice silicone gasket. The thickness of the gasket prevents the jar ring from screwing all the way down, so it *looks* like the strainer top is going to leak, and this takes a bit of getting used to. The set is well made, with well smoothed edges and well polished surfaces. The strainer has an indented bit around the top edge that will act as a crud trap - this is pretty typical with cocktail shakers, but it's always a little bit of a hassle to clean out.

Mason jar shaker

I guess I was expecting more. I thought it came on a Mason jar, but it is just the top.. this should work good on those drinks for the holidays coming up..if you do t want to buy the whole thing..
