Much longer than expected

I haven't used it yet. It appears to be able to work for my needed, but I may need to only use half of it for my needs. Seems very strong and sturdy.

It’s not pretty and plastic but it does what I need it to for now. It is easy to install.

Makes trimming and mowing easy.

It fits well on down-spouts and directs rain water well away from the foundation. Mowing and trimming are a snap by pivoting the spouting upward.

Ok for a deluge or two but might not last one year and...

Though it kinda almost works, there is no mechanism to latch it while it is upright. Nor if its down either. So its just blowing in the wind. Might come home and find its blown right into the crack along your foundation that you are trying not to drain anymore water into, so.... I mean unless you aren't haven't an actual problem and don't live where there is climate extremes happening- maybe it would work for you, but I would would look elsewhere really for something to at least make it through one season and deliver water away from your house. Like concrete drains or french drains primarily made out of plastic and gravel.

Does The Job But Durability Could Be Better

I bought the downspout extender on sale at a reduced price. At the price I paid, I guess it was a fair deal. However, the sturdiness and durability is of some concern. The plastic is not very thick, which gives me concern about it's durability over time. After a couple of years in the sun, I speculate that this thing may become brittle. Maybe they're all like this. I dunno. But, it shipped quickly, fit into place on my downspout and looks like it will perform it's job as advertised. I would probably buy another one at the same sale price. A recommend buy.

Longer Down Spout

i had looked at multiple down spouts online. I chose this one because it gave me more length than the others I saw online. The only thing I was not expecting was it was bulky where it rotated but I was still able to use it, but it is at an angle. I was going to order another one, but the location I would need something more streamed lined as it is next to a gate and it would block the gate in the upright position due to the base being larger. Otherwise, I am glad I ordered it and it is doing the job I needed it to do.

Easy to install, don't know how long it will last!

It's well made for the purpose, just skeptical about the longevity of the product, I don't know how long the extendable portion will last. When I time comes, I will replace that bit with a metal spout. For the price, yeah, I would buy it again.

Great idea

I usually don't write reviews but I have been searching for a product like this . It takes the water completly away from the house ...I wished the white was available when I ordered but brown is fine as long as water is away from the house

extremly dificult to pry apart, not very sturdy cannot stand our winter cracks easily, would not recommend buying , only good for spring &summer otherwise i would not buy this again not worth the money
