Great for preventing garden weeds

Very easy to work with. We covered our entire garden with this and it has done a marvelous job at keeping out the weeds. The only holes in it are from an accidental shovel strike and from a few overly tenacious aspen shoots. (Don’t plant aspens in your yard. Just don’t.) The kids and puppy even walk all over the garden and haven’t really poked any holes that I can see. Now in mid July we only have a handful of weeds to pull from the immediate plant hole. The plants are performing right on target and they don’t appear to be over or under watered. We do have 4 gallon flag drippers pointed at each plant hole but I’m interested to see if that was necessary or if our normal sprinkler irrigation would have sufficiently water the plants. Update: by the end of the growing season we were still in love with the black plastic as a weed block. We even left some along one strip of soil but by spring it was pretty shredded. So this really will only work for one growing season but it’s still worth it to us. We just put it down for this year again.

Good product

The same quality product is selling at Lowes and Home Depot for slightly more money. I didn't have high expectations but this is thick, heavy-duty material and large size which is great for large jobs. Covers very well, not see-through at all, black. I'd buy again if needed.

killing weeds without pesticides

I want an organic garden. placed over weeds so I do not have to use chemicals

It's pretty thick. So hopefully it won't tear in the winter weather.

Great stuff

Works great! I use it to protect carpet in dinning room in my high rise apartment where previous dog renter had soiled.I tried organic enzymes carpet cleaner but my dog's constantly sniffed that area and refused the tiled potty area I prefer.I finally decided to cover the area with the plastic drop cloth and place potty pads on the plastic.it works great for those bad weather and late night times when outside walks are not possible.cleans up great and even mop up with enzymes cleaner.the 4ml thickness holds up great.potty pads are messy and it's the perfect barrier between the carpet and pads.I change it monthly for sanitary reason but it's still in tact and perfect condition.

Heavy duty and not stiff

I ordered 2 packs of this sheeting to line my living room with. My daughter wanted a pool full of “water beads” inside the house for her birthday. This sheeting was just enough to cover the entire living room and go up the walls a few feet to block electrical outlets and contain said mess. This sheeting is heavy duty and durable but not so thick that it is hard to work with. This still was easy to maneuver and I used an entire roll of gorilla glue tape for the seams. I also love that it is black because I can see all of the mess the beads made on the floor and where to step.

good for price

Good price but didn't like the texture of the surface or color. Light gray. I use it in my studio and like a whiter one better.......but will work and good price
