This worked well for paint application, but one of them wouldn't rotate on the roller. I couldn't use it. Boo

Densest (= smoothest finish) foam roller I’ve found

I’ve had 15 raised panel doors that had to be painted and by the time I realized what an ordeal it would be to paint rather than spray them, it was too late for the latter. I’ve tried this and the black foam Whizz. This one lays down the smoother coat, but the Whizz has the option of a shape that allows you to get right up against the angles. They each have their place, I’m using a urethane added Cabinet and Trim paint, very fast setting and not as easy to use as a standard satin or semi gloss latex. It’s been a three coat process. I tend to use the whizz for the first two coats and the FoamPro for the final coat where everything gets evened out. What’s amazing is how both brands retain enough moisture that if you encase them in airtight plastic, you should be able to just pick up wherever you left off without them drying out.

meh...

Just meh. Center came out of one on 3rd dip. Foam is not as dense as I had hoped. Bought a bulk box of "China cheaps" on next try that were actually a lot better.

Only one worked

So I bought these to paint cabinets. I read the reviews. Thought these were perfect. And ONE of them was. The cabinets came out great. Only problem is that one of the foam rollers was broken on the inside and flew off the roller causing me to scratch the cabinet. So that sucked. I had to clean the first one real quick to finish the job.

I love these foams. I don’t buy any other brand for my painting needs. I highly recommend these.

Great for painting cabinets

Purchased these to paint my kitchen cabinets with and they were a great time saver. The first roller pad I found that actually stayed on the roller (included!) and was super easy to rinse off. I didn’t have to throw them away at the end which was a nice economical bonus

It could have been the paint

I used these with Modern Masters Door paint. Unfortunately they didn't seem to pick up the paint, they mostly pushed it around instead of applied it. It very well could be my paint was too thick in consistency.

Nice smooth finish!

These rollers give a nice smooth finish to surfaces. Make sure you buy the paint from a paint store that specializes in quality paint...
