I was pleasingly surprised...

I thought I was ordering my yarn... That's what I get for doing late night ordering... LOL I started to return it... As I was doing my craft which I visualize as I create I saw a need for this thread... It's sturdy enough and thin enough for the project I was doing... It glued easily and was just the perfect touch for my craft... I'm glad I kept it... I would recommend this product...

Is a nice string but......

Is a nice string. The only bad thing is that when you cut the string it starts separating and is harder to manage. Also you cannot use certain charms on this string.????

Smooth, excellent quality, good tight ply threads that don't separate during knitting

- The quality of this thread is excellent - it *is* very smooth and strong, feels pleasant to the touch, has a good *tight* twist to the ply threads so it's staying together and not unravelling as I'm starting to cast on - and last but not least, this white is definitely a pure, *bright* white! So for people who do their own dying, it will yield pure colors. I might even give that a try myself. - I was gambling with this purchase, because the price was so reasonable that I was a bit concerned, LOL!! But it received so many good reviews that I went ahead and bought 4. And I'm very happy that I did, because it's just that nice =:-) - At first, I admittedly thought it was a bit too "stiff" for lace knitting, but I definitely changed my mind after I received the good knitting-needles I'd ordered and worked with this thread on those; they also are 3mm, whereas I had originally tried using 2mm. So the slightly larger size ((i.e., 3mm)) and the much better quality needles ((very smooth, and pointy!)) made me like this fiber even more =:-) I still think it might have some sizing in it, so I would like to wash it, but I don't know how to go about washing a ball of crochet thread, LOL! But it's fine. - Now I'm thinking I ought to grab some more, just to keep it on hand... ;)

Very durable yarn and maintains form

Material is very good for crochet for handbag. I wish Red Heart had more colour options. This nylon yarn has slight pink tint. I personally prefer without pink reflection.

I am not satisfied with the quality of the package I received. Every few meters the thread breaks. This is very annoying. I've had to tie them a dozen times. This does not affect the quality of my work. I tried to discard the cut pieces, but too much thread would have to be thrown away. My irritation is getting bigger. The photo shows some cuts, some of them are inside.

This cotton thread is exceptionally soft and delightful to work with. Finished product is a little weightier and softer, which adds to its appeal.
