Professional with Great Quality

Dropped right in!! No Prob. Perfect fit... A first for us. Other filters We've used seem to be cheap paper with rubber caps that become difficult to remove. Dropped in 3/26/23 and I'm eager to see how it holds up.

Very Best filter

This filter is far better than all the others purchased. It filters excellent, holds a ton of gunk without increasing pump pressure and cleans like a dream!! Really well made. It looks almost new after months of use. Worth every penny!

Really great filter!

I purchased this filter about 6 weeks ago to test if the problem of my pool water was actually due to the filter. I had my old filter only about a few weeks when the water problem started. Since the filter still looked new, I was reluctant to believe it was the causation of the water problem for a good year. It ended up wasting me over $600 on chemicals in a year. After replacing with this filter, I immediately saw the difference. The water turned back to crystal clear in a couple of days. It's been 6 weeks and I see the pressure at the pool pump remain at about 12lbs at all times. I can also see the big difference of the water flow in the pool. Even when I found a lot of sediments trapped in the filter as I cleaned the filter, the pressure on the pump remained at12 lbs. Unlike my old filter, I literally had to clean the filter 2 times every single week as I saw the pressure went up to 28lbs in just a few days. This is a really good filter and I hope it will last reasonably. Only bad thing I have found out is it costs about $17 dollars more now. Still, I would consider buying this filter again next time. It's still much much cheaper compared with buying a bad filter like I did before.

Paid just a little more cash, but got a lot more quality!

I have purchased a couple of different pool filters from Amazon over the past few years, always going for the cheapest. DON'T make that mistake. I have been fighting algae for the last year and have been cleaning the filter a couple times a week. I recently purchased this filter and immediately started seeing a difference in the water. I actually believe that the last, cheaper filter was a breeding ground for the algae. I am back to the pool pump pressure staying below 20psi for weeks instead a couple of days. The cost of this filter is just a little over half of what the local pool supply store wanted for a Pentair replacement that wasn't even really made and sold by Pentair. Try this filter out. It worked for me.

Was surprised!!

Since we had our pool built the filter would clog and flow of water would slow. We had to keep disassembling and cleaning the filter very often. We weren't told by our Contractor we'd need to replace the filter cartridge within 2 months of initial start up of the pool. It wasn't until we hired a Pool cleaning company, we were told the filter needed to be replaced. We ordered these filters, he installed one, and what a difference. We are now on our second filter and according to our Pool cleaning company, this second filter should last us a year or two!!

Not as described

I opened this new filter to find it did not have the super high-flow cores designed to support the filter while also providing excellent flow rates and performance. This is what I was expecting. Furthermore it's top and bottom gaskets are of a cheap plastic and very thin. Apon inspection I could see cracking of the top gasket and a film of some of the releases agent used during manufacturing. The gaskets will be a point of failure as I have read in on review.
