Does the job

It is replacing a ultrawf model filter so this one is shorter and weighs less but it fits perfectly with no leaks and the carbon dust went away fairly fast. The old filter had slowed the water flow to the point that the ice maker stopped working. We have ice again and everything seems fine. I haven’t tested the chlorine count yet. I will post an update when I do. The one I received was dry and seemed properly branded and assembled. Didn’t appear to be a knockoff. I have 2 pre filters , a sediment carbon, and a fluoride filter that also includes a carbon section, in the basement on the fridge line so I’m not really concerned about it much. But now the ice maker is full.

Smaller than the original part

It works but is not the same size as the OEM part. This was smaller than the original it is supposed to replace. Can still use but expect will need to replace sooner than if I bought the true original part.

Great replacement

This filter is a good low cost replacement to name brand product. Make sure to run a gallon or so of water through any one of these filters to fill the filter and to flush it out.

Great taste been a year!

It's been over a year and this filter is still going and giving great tasting fresh water coming from the tap. The prof is obvious since every April my city does a water treatment that makes the tap water smell and taste like strong chemicles, however, the water coming from this filter has no oder and still taste fresh after a year even with the treatment going on. Buying a second now I mean it's to good to be true that is lasted this long.

Simple, Easy replacement.

Easily replaced and performs well. Good instructions. This was our second time to replace and plan to stick with this brrand.
