Works perfectly

Replaced the old ones with no issues. My compressor has 2 so I bought 2 and replaced both of them as one of the housings was broken.

Pleased overall

These filters are of a “light duty” construction. I had to space them out from the air compressor intake about 4” to prevent them from being affected by the heat. Otherwise, they do the job

Good little filters

Good little filters. As to the thread size... The threads are 1/2" male pipe thread. That means the air hole is 1/2". The outside diameter of the 'pipe' is just under 3/4". Hence the different answers to questions about what size are the mounting threads. 1/2" male pipe!

Filter Works

Needed a filter replacement for a Grizzly 4 gallon twin tank air compressor. This worked great, and the filter element happens to match my 30 gallon Kobolt air compressor. Only have to keep one filter element. Filter element is a VH901800AV. It is a 1/2 NPT plastic screw in filter housing with filter element.

Superior to the Original

This unit provides better airflow and reduces the compressor noise level. It is superior to the mfg. original unit. Removing the molding flash from the threads eases instilation.

Cheap plastic, but works as intended.

Had to super glue the pieces back together where the threaded part meets the filter body. Also, I think air is leaking around the outer ring where the cover and cup come together which allows the "banging" sound of the intake air to be heard a little bit. Would be nicer if it were made of metal instead of plastic, but for the price, it's okay.

Intake port is restricted

The intake port is restricted by the cap retainer, there is a big piece of plastic in the middle of the intake, i returned and ordered the Solberg

No worries...Wish air filters by themselves where this cheap.
