This thing works great, no smoke!

I've been using a good full size iron with holes and it's hard to get it the right temp to not produce smoke. This iron is perfect. I got it the right temp first time and it didn't smoke at all. Spread evenly. Seems like a heavy duty metal base.

Works Well, Compact Package

Works great, applying your own wax to your board or skis isn't difficult. Save you some money instead of paying for a ski shop to do a simple job. You'll also need some sort of scraper to go with your iron.

Best tuning iron Ive owned yet

applies wax evenly and melts well. Ive knocked this off my tuning bench probably a dozen times and it still holds up and works. Have had it for about 18 months and its been used to tune our families fleet of snowboards. Very happy with this iron. Good heat control, small and portable for snow trips. Just go buy one!

I like this iron for its value and usability, it seems to do the job and hopefully will last a long time to come. waxing 3pair of skis once a week will put it to the test!

Not accurate

Like most inexpensive irons, it takes a long time to heat up. Maybe I got a lemon but mine did not get hot enough to melt my wax (rated to melt at 100 degrees) until I cranked the dial to the max. This wouldn’t be a problem, but some cold-weather waxes require temperatures higher than 100 degrees. Aside from that it’s a good looking iron, easy to use, feels good in the hand.

Great waxing iron

Worked super well for waxing my snowboard. Heated up quickly, provided a consistent heating surface. Cooled down in a reasonable amount of time after use

Iron is very easy to use and unlike my old iron, I really like that you can control the temperature for specific waxes.
