broke on first use, with barely any pressure. these are extremely soft

great color, very nice and bright - however - using barely any pressure, they all broke on the first use!

Breaks easy, good on lots of surfaces

The white paint crayon broke immediately- didn't think I used that much pressure. I like how the paint crayons have sturdy, plastic cradles to hold them in place even when the sturdy plastic case is open for usage. I have tested the crayon paints on wood, plastic, and paper

Durable, richly pigmented

It really doesn't get better than these when it comes to getting value for your money. There's a great mix of colors and the pastels are EXTREMELY durable. I'm a very hard writer and I'm known for accidentally breaking crayons. I was so surprised that these pastels weren't breaking, that I *tried* to break one by pressing really hard and coloring back and forth. I literally couldn't break it. I love these pastels, they're the perfect choice for beginners and great for kids too. The carrying case keeps everything organized and doesn't take up much space.

Purchased for a Christmas gift, not sure what the quality of the pastels will be until they're used.

Cute little set

My son needed these for homeschool and these were perfect. For some reason I thought it was a big case but glad that it was in a little case.

Very nice pastels

I love pastels and the effect they have on the drawing. The colors are very pigmented and rich. I have used non-oil pastels in the past and they are more like chalk with dust coming off, these are more "sticky" since they are oil-based. I have found that you cannot use color pencil or markers/Sharpie with these pastels, nothing else goes over it. You can only use other oil pastels to blend. It does blend well but it is not as easy to blend because of the sticky nature of the pastels. I still like these though. When my boys tire of using Sharpie or color pencils, these pastels cover more ground and provide deeper color with less use of the hand.

Worth it!

I wished to give this earlier to my kid .. anyways he is into coloring a lot now .. Thanks to this product- its thick waxy/oily crayon which helps younger kids more interested in coloring!!

No son crayones de gel

Yo buscaba crayones de gel para mi hijo pequeño pero en realidad no son para cualquier niño, sino para niños o adultos que están aprendiendo a pintar y mezclar colores o bien ya saben y disfrutan hacerlo. Están muy bonitos pero no son lo que necesitaba.
