Very smooth writing. Packing was terrible.

These write very smoothly. I love the feel. Two things about my order were off-putting. The box these pencils came in had obviously gotten wet on one end at some point. The flap was water stained and crinkled and looked as if it had been handled quite a bit. The pencils seem to be in good shape. The packing that Amazon did was horrible. There were several items in one large paper padded envelope and the flap was barely sealed. It came open of it's own accord as soon as I lifted it from the post office box. Another envelope I received from Amazon at the same time was seal perfectly and very secure. Amazon just doesn't have much consistency concerning their shipping practices.

Great for sensory and grip issues

My child hates writing and has sensory issues so wanted to try these out. They haven’t solved his hate for writing but they have improved his penmanship when he does write. The nodes give his hand the stimulation feedback he needs to not fidget so much and hold his grip. I have noticed a slight adjustment to his grip as well. So all in all, it was worth it for me and he loves them. He switches between these, the black Ticonderoga pencils (smooth sensation) and the First Ticonderoga #2 Pencils (for weight). The eraser isn’t a big issue for us because I bought him the white hi-polymer Faber castell white erasers as they erase better than those pink ones required by elementary schools.

Look cool-but. . .

I love the way these feel-but for me-they don’t write like other pencils-probably better lead-I guess I’m old fashioned-I like the darker smoother cheap #2

THIS pencil is wonderful.... No... it REALLY is the BEST!

So silly that I am Sooooo happy with a pencil, but I am! I hold my pencil very odd, right handed, resting on my ring finger with middle and pointer finger on top of pencil with thumb straight up and thumb "print" on top of pointer knuckle. So the triangle shape is perfect for comfort level. Another plus is the gripper feature, I didn't think of this at time of purchase, but I just went to put lotion on my hands and guess what? ... No slipping! With winter coming and doing hours of college algebra per day, it makes it much easier to hold a pencil for long periods of time. I've actually bought other pencils and did a bunch of searches for the " best pencil", obviously many people take their pencils seriously, funny enough, I am one of them now! The wood is smooth, point stays sharp, I press hard on my pencils, so it takes less force with this pencil. The lines are clear, and for leftys, there is minimum smearing and clean eraser( important for algebra). Funny how one of the longest reviews I have ever written has been for a pencil but the right one makes all the difference!

Leads not broken, would prefer not sharpened .grip is comfy.

Came sharpened. No broken leads. Some points off centre. Good for journal writing or suduko.

Great Pencils

Love these pencils, the eraser is super soft and works very well. The shape is like a triangle instead of it being round which is super nice for if you're a full time artist with the "artist's bump" on your finger from drawing too much.
