seems like a great machine for newbies

I’m not a coffee snob, and this is the first espresso machine I have owned, but I like the taste of the espresso. The machine is a little noisy, but has calm down a little bit after the first several uses. I contacted brim customer support shortly after receiving the unit, because the pressure gauge on the machine didn’t seem to go very high well brewing. I was basically told that that gauge is cosmetic, and not a true reflection of the pressure in the machine. The steamer gets pretty hot, but if you don’t consume the drink right away, the milk and espresso will get cold pretty quickly. We solve this with a vacuum insulated travel mug. Overall, it was easy to learn, and seem to have the best features for the price. It’s not always available on Amazon.

Brim is Easy!

easy to clean and operate. The milk steamer works fast! I don't have to preheat milk in the microwave. The pressure gauge does not read a very high pressure. Nevertheless the coffee is great.

No tengo muchos que comentar por que solo ampasado 4 dias de su llegada, es muy fasil de operal aunque en cual quier cafetera el cafe mequeda exelente en" Brim" no tengo que esforsarme porque esta cafetera lo hace por mi buen sabor y buena espuma como en cual quier lugar que preparen cafe y todo eso en meno de 30 segundos (solo una sugerencia el manual o guia por favor en español etc) Muchas gracias I do not have many to comment because only covered 4 days of arrival, it is very easy to operate although in any coffee maker the coffee is excellent in "Brim" I do not have to make an effort because this coffee maker does it for my good taste and good foam as in any place that they prepare coffee and all that in less than 30 seconds (only a suggestion the manual or guide please in Spanish etc) Thank you

Mostly Great Coffee

I love the coffee that it brews that’s for sure! As long as the bean is ground up properly it’s all good. But the more I used it the more issues I started to have. Issues: - the “Double Shot” button no longer works after 8 months or so. - the steamer doesn’t make the water Hot any more so after 5 months or so.

A solid okay product

For a beginning at home barista, this machine is ok. Other reviews state that the pressure gauge on the face is either inaccurate or non-functional and I find that to be true. When steaming milk, there is no feature (that I know of) to purge the wand before and/or after use. After about three months of use, the porta filter has completely come out of the handle, as shown in the picture. But I fixed that with JB Weld quickset epoxy adhesive. I believe the heat from the machine just softens the adhesive that the manufacture uses and the handle separated. On the flip side, the shots taste good (I think). Price is affordable. I like the sleek polished stainless steel finish. It's not too big and fits on my counter in my coffee nook. Overall, I give it a solid ok. You get what you pay for. I'm no espresso expert but this machine does what I need it to do and for that, I'll keep it for now

Save your money

Had for over a year and a half, I’ve tried all the troubleshooting I could do. Tried different grind corses, all across the board but no luck on getting any pressure.

Wonderful little machine!

What a great little machine! I’m a former barista and I love the affordability and quality of this product! It makes delicious crema when pulling espresso shots and the steamer wand creates delicious foam! One thing I did was take the little metal piece off the steamer wand( as photographed) and I feel like it works a lot better! If you’re a coffee lover like my self do yourself a favor and buy this!
