Perfection!

I have always loved ELEMIS products and this did not disappoint. I've heard that makeup wipes are harsh on your skin. This product not only cleans your skin but melts makeup off at the same time. I alternate this with an AHA/BHA cleanser every 3 days and my 58 year old skin is looks fantastic especially in the winter.

Elemis Super Glow Cleanser

Some of the reviews have shown concern because there wasn’t a protective layer on the jar itself, which is true. However, my box came with a protective sticker which was undisturbed. The box was brand new as was the product inside. If it’s not original Elemis product, they went to a lot of trouble in packaging this product in a heavy glass. On the product: it’s not a balm so it won’t have the same properties as a balm but it’s very soothing to the skin and does a more than adept job cleansing the skin and leaving it soft and luxurious. Don’t need to use much and be sure to gently massage on your face and neck to get the most out of this expensive cleanser. I like it not sure I’m in love with. Will update this review when I’ve used more of the product. So far so good though. A gentle hydrating cleanser.

GREAT PRODUCT!

I've used probably every product out there to improve my skin for 65 years and NONE have provided the results I wanted, ie. dewy, smooth, minimized lines. This product is designed for "cleansing and makeup removal;" HOWEVER, I use it for under makeup moisturizing throughout the day. I've had SO MANY compliments on my skin since beginning the use of this product. Won't use anything else again. ALL of Elemis products are GREAT!!!!!

Misleading.

Despite many people describing this product as fragrance free, it most certainly isn't. Indeed, it doesn't have a strong smell but it does include many fragrance ingredients which may be irritating to sensitive skin. Further it's difficult to actually engage how much AHA is in this product due to the fact that AHA isn't even a listed ingredient - I can only assume it comes from the pumpkin ferment, if so, the AHA content must be so miniscule it's not even worth considering. The description says you can use this as a cleansing mask but I felt absolutely no different from cleansing with this and using it as a mask. If that is indeed the case though, I'm not certain which of the ingredients would cleanse the skin if left on for an extended amount of time. There's quite a lot of hydrating and nourishing ingredients but they're mostly very ordinary ingredients. There are countless other cleansing balms out there I'd opt for over this one.

Something is off...

I usually order direct from Elemis, but on this occasion ordered from Amazon, as it was marginally cheaper. The container was a little scratched / grubby looking which was concerning - I have tried to capture in the photo of the lid. It doesn’t seem clean? As for the product inside the jar - it looks like it has been touched. I don’t feel like it is sterile nor safe to use and am extremely disappointed.

I RECEIVED MY PRODUCT OPEN WITH HALF THE CONTENT MISSING

MY CLEANSING BUTTER ARRIVED OPENED AND HALF THE TUB WAS MISSING!! NOW I HAVE TO RETURN FOR A REFUND BECAUSE AMAZON TAMPER WITH PRODUCTS, DON'T ORDER CLEANSING BALMS OR BUTTERS FROM AMAZON AS THEY ALWAYS ARRIVE DAMAGED IN SOME WAY OR ANOTHER!!

Half product missing

There is no seal in between the product and I usually buy from elemis directly so I know the quality of their products and how they package them as you can see half of the product has been taken out.

Not sure if preused

I've not bought this direct from the company so I dont know for sure what it should look like. However when I removed the top lid, there was no seal between the lid and contents which usually there is even with cheaper products. So I'm not convinced it had not already been opened previously
