Good filter

The filter fit perfect. Exactly what i needed.

As cheaply made as possible. Overpriced piece of pleated filter with plastic ends.

$9 for this is like buying the $2 candy bars in the check out line. You couldn't make a cheaper filter. It's actually smaller than the original which is tiny. The inner metal piece has been deleted so this thing is going to keep crushing down with nothing to support the filter media. It's smaller in outside diameter than the cheaply made factory unit so it wont fit tight so you can install the silencer cover easily. Absolute trash. If I ever need another filter for this compressor, I will make one. I feel like I got conned at a shell game.

I agree with Mike

I also feel like I got conned. I was expecting to get a filter like the picture shows; a genuine I-R filter. Instead I received a cheap red plastic knock-off filter with paper media made in who-knows-where for about a nickel. I wanted the genuine I-R filter because it "utilizes 100 percent synthetic fiberglass media filtration to effectively remove contaminants with 99.9 percent filter efficiency at 10 microns". This cheap paper filter will not stand up to the heat and humidity of real-world operation. So, I did more research, and found the genuine article at industrialairpower dot com. And for less money! (but you do have to pay for shipping).

Great fit, identical to original
