Needed a replacement

I broke the one I had and ordered this to replace it and complete the job.

Does not work well in hard wood like oak

I purchased this bit because it’s designed for wood only. I paid for rush shipping and it arrived on time. The bit smoked and smelled of wood burning no matter how slow we set the drill. Managed to get one hole done but it splinter the back which was a big disappointment. With all the cabinet doors we need to do, this definitely isn’t the bit for us.

It worked.

The one I receive had a significant wobble, but I can't say it came like that from the factory, since I only purchased one and have nothing with which to compare. It still worked good, though. No drift once that point is pressed into the wood, and cut clean.

works very well

I purchased this to install door handles on our new kitchen cabinets. I used a jig to force position but like the tip so you can start your position without fear of wandering. Still sharp after drilling about a hundred holes in hardwood. My only dislike is it doesn't care what it drills and my finger can testify...

Nice bit

Works very well for the cabinet door pulls I was putting on. I put painting tape on the exit side of hole to prevent splitting laminate when bit exits.

Ok. Does the job

I use this bit to install cabinets handle. It doesn’t walk and pretty accurate. I just don’t like much pressure I had to apply, plus it’s slow. Have to be careful with pressure, splinter several cabinets upon exit. I adjust as I went along. See pic.
