Great bits

I’m not a big dewalt but I do love there bits. I’ve used them for quite some time and have never been disappointed. The brad bits are a must if you do a lot of drilling by hand.

Works as described

Needed a brad bit for an old solid maple dresser I am refinishing, I am replacing the original hardware. These bits went through the wood easily with a cordless drill, completed 9 drawers without an issue.

Blows out hole

While these bits help provide a more precise placement of the bit without allowing the bit to walk, they don't prevent blow out when they exit the material being drilled, especially if you're drilling at a higher rate of speed. Decent variety of sizes for the average user. Was able to utilize one bit and remained sharp after drilling holes for all my cabinet doors and drawers.

Love the brad point. makes it a lot easier to keep from walking the bit all over. Between that and center punching, you get nice accurate holes drilled where you want them. Works well in wood. Not sure id use in metal, don't think they'd like that Great bits, would recommend

Half inch bit is out of alignment

Although most of the bits seem to be accurate, the half-inch bit is out of true. When chucked in my drill the brad point scribes about an 1/8-inch circle. When drilling deeper into wood, there is an annoying oscillation caused by the fact that the shank is not true to the point. The rest of the bit seems to be machined quite well but the 3/8" shank is not true to the rest of the bit. If I had a 1/2 inch shuck I would cut off the 3/8 inch shank and I think it would be fine.

Brad bits

Second set that I bought this time for my son. Great bits for the money and provide great results. My first set is over three years old and used daily in the shop for hard and soft woods. More importantly they still have a lot of life in them. Recomended.

Quick delivery, precise product.

Difficult to get the old imperial sizes in the UK or 1/2 sizes in millimetre drills above about 3mm. Luckily found these in the States. Well made too with precise centering of the Brad Point. Delivery times weren't bad either considering the distance they have come, arriving over a week earlier than forecast. Thanks.

Sirven exactamente para lo que son y el material se ve durable, no he tenido problema con ellas.
