Challenging and fun!

The quilt top was the perfect project for me to reintroduce myself to embroidery after a 15 year hiatus. I do wish the chart was a little larger print, but other than that, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I’m not sure how long it will take me to finish it, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working on it thus far. It doesn’t come with floss, so be sure to take this into account when you order. Overall, I do recommend this quilt top.

It is going to be beautiful when I finish it.

I love the pattern of this cross-stitched quilt. I am just finishing the first flower. I like the types of stitching used. There is a good variety in this quilt of stitching so it will be interesting to do and to look at. However, the instructions leave much to be desired. The patterns for the flowers are all crammed on one sheet of paper which is way too small. The symbols are nearly impossible to see without a good magnifier. The part symbols are often impossible to read even with a magnifier unless I just take off my glasses and put the paper up to my nose. Some of the patterns are blurred so I am guessing but having done several I can figure it out or fake it. Either way it will come out looking good when I am done with it.

Love this

Working on this now..love to embroider things that aren’t tablecloths or pillow cases ...have done too many of those and not many use tablecloths anymore. This was suppose to be a lap wrap for 83 year old friend but now thinking I might put and stretch over canvas and hang it. I’m freelancing the colors. The only thing I wasn’t happy with were the instructions....way too small and hard to read...so I winged it.

Incorrect Kit Description!

The pattern itself is very pretty. However, the kit DOES NOT come with embroidery floss, floss separator, or needle as stated in the description. It has the printed flat piece, instructions, and a list on the back of the package of floss colors you will need to purchase separately.
