Hard to Shut

Great durable cup but hard to collapse

Great for traveling

I'm glad I made this purchase. The color is happy, the mug collapsed to fit easily into my suitcase, and it was nice to be able to make tea in my hotel room. I did not find the handle particularly comfortable so I wrapped some fabric around it.

light, compact, but not sturdy

Works as intended, very good for hikes or travel in general. I do think the base could be improved to be a bit more sturdy though. Steamy hot drinks and a wobbly cup isn't a great combo.

Pick color carefully!

The media could not be loaded. I can't speak for the other colors, but the bright orange version made it near impossible to see the volume markings. I chose the cup primarily because A) it was collapsible and B) it could be used to measure. Unfortunately only the first applies. The cup folds with a little pressure, but is strong and won't collapse on accident. Held up well with both heat and cold. Cleaning is easy- although brighter colors will cling to any ashy fingerprints, it can be rubbed out with a touch of soap and some scrubbing. Took video after rinsing with water only to show ash/smoke fingerprints. (To be expected due to material and color, making note for those who don't want a visually dirty cup.)

Good little cup to compliment the UCO mess kit

Plenty of good reviews out there that go into very good detail. My only complaint about this cup is that it does retain some flavor. I drink very strong coffee and my cup seems to now smell like coffee permanently. Now I have to admit I just throw it into the dishwasher and have not looked into to get rid of the smell but I do not seem to have this issue with my GSI cup.

Lightweight and nice to hold and use

Cracking little mug, not the smallest when folded, but having the solid plastic top makes it much easier to hold and use and is a worthwhile trade off. Graduations for ml on the inside are a little tricky to see unless in the right light, but seems robust and a good price. Only improvement could be a click on lid for it please uco!

Good little cup that packs down well

Why didn't I buy one of these sooner? It packs down to half it's size, yet it still has space within the depression to fit one of my sistema nesting containers perfectly inside of it. It also seems far more rugged than my previous cheap camping mug. So there's the tea/coffee situation well sorted then. Cheers UCO! Another great product for a decent price.
