The handle is constantly coming off. It's awkward and a waste of $ and time.

I go to the gas station in the middle of winter, use their squeegee and sometimes if I am lucky find a newer one that works great considering the cold temperatures outside to clean my windows from the salt left behind, not to mention how many other customers use it. Now, I buy this product, upscale around $17.00 plus. Again winter. I soaked the squeegee in warm water first. Then took a bucket with windshield solvent and cleaned my windows in my garage. The squeegee part is ridged and terrible.Does not work well. My question, I am willing to pay for a quality product which I thought I was buying in the first place but why can't I find a product as the better gas stations use?
