Alfi company got sold eight years ago to Thermos!

Don't expect the same quality or feel of the product, if you are expecting the same top quality of the originals....this has a cheap feel to it, and the 1 1/2 lire one I bought with this one couldn't even be opened to fill it! Had to return it.... My old Alfis are more than 20 years old, superb to this day.

excellent kettle

I received the kettle today ,even the design and quality of the kettle are more than i expect. i will buy it one more as a gift for my friend.

Good looks, nice design, poor craftsmsnship

Like: design, looks, insulation. Hate: the stopper top, connected to the neck of the caraffe, has become detached, after a year of daily use at home. A much older model Alfi caraffe used in the same way--to keep the pour-over coffee I brew in the morning-- is going strong after close to ten years. I have contacted the manufacturer's support desk, let's see if they make things right. Disappointing.
