Best hood I've found for kiteboarding.

I've had 3 or 4 of these hoods now and use it for kite boarding. They don't last more than a few seasons but there just isn't anything better that I found. Keeps my head warm but mainly use it for sun protection(as a bald person it also feels nice to just have a little layer for bumps and scrapes ????). As a bonus it helps keep my sun glasses on my face and holds my head phones in place when I occasionally wear them. For that reason I get these a size bigger than whats recommended. It would be nice to have a bright color option for visibility reasons but what evs. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because they don't seem to last too long(seam splits and material deterioration), but I'll still continue buying them because its the best hood I've found.

my Brother can not wear one of these,, too clostrophobic, but , i like them, good sun coverage and warmer if it is cold i have a lighter one, for warmer weather and i have just a lycra hood for sun protection, and then i use a baseball cap but if it is cold or the Ocean then, this hood is for me,, so much better, so much warmer, i like the sunviser,, the problem for sail boats is , you should feel the wind on your ears which ofcourse you won't

Even the largest size runs extremely small

Don’t waste your time or money on this. I tried both the L and the XL and both face openings were the tiny tiny size it was ridiculous. Also a hassle and a wait to get your refund if you try and return.

Warmth

My son loves the difference it makes in how much longer that he can stay in the water surfing this winter. Has made me a heroine.

Well made but a large is small on my head, puckers face a bit. But...wouldn’t say it’s absolutely sized wrong. I’m returning this for an XL

Perfect hoodie

Bought this hoodie b/c my old one felt like it was choking me out. This one is perfect. Surfed in about 52 degree water and felt fine. Super warm, comfortable, I like the bill, which actually helps move the water away when you duck-dive...Would get this again no doubt.
