Beer in, flies out.

These little jewels work great to keep my outdoor beer taps running fresh and insect free. It seems that the fruit fly population here in God's country is growing bigger and badder each season, but they can't get to my beer thanks to these smart little items. During the summer, however, I do recommend running them through the dishwasher every few weeks to keep the funk factor down. Since these install up into the beer faucet they do have a tendency to get a little funky over time, but it's nothing a good periodic washing won't cure. I have also tried the plastic covers that go over the beer faucet, but I prefer these. The plastic covers tend to fill up with beer drippings between uses, which tend to get a bit nasty in the summertime heat, plus they're tougher to keep clean. I prefer the plug design over the cover design.

Keeps my Perlick Faucet clean and sanitary.

I have keezer for my homebrew that I keep on my deck. These little beauties keep the bugs out of the taps. I have used the plastic sleeves, but the pressure pops them off. I don't have that problem with these. I did have to cut down the plastic so it would fit in my Perlick Faucet - Flow Control - Model 650SS, but that was pretty easy to do.

Great product keeps tap clean.

Wonderful little bottle brushes that keep taps free of pesky pests and fruit fly as well as dust and other unsavory things found after a few days with a sticky tap. Not a replacement for cleaning taps every week to two weeks but still a nice solution for the in between maintenance. Will buy replacements again.

Works for our bar

Ordered these for the bar I work at, over 20 taps, and they fit perfectly. They clean the spouts from the daily debris. Make sure you clean them properly every day, and sanitize them; though that should be common knowledge. A few occasions the brush pulls off the pull tab, but that's easily fixed by using needle nose pliers and it fits back into the tab.

Product works well although I think they need to be rinsed between uses. I haven’t had any problems with my perlick taps smelling or attracting flies, but the bristles trapped enough beer that they got pretty smelly pretty quick.

A little long but does the trick

I use these to keep the spigots on my Kombucha brewing crocks clean and to keep fruit flies out. They're a bit long for the spigots (versus a tapper spigot, I suppose), but the bristles block and clean what they're supposed to, and the plastic tab handle thingy holds it securely. Just make sure you hold the spigot with one hand while inserting/removing this little plug, or you may breach the spigot's seal with your jar.

The best way to plug bear taps. Just make sure to soak them in sanitizer.

Great product. They do their job.

Been using these for 4 months, and they are perfect so far. They fit nicely in my Perlick faucets. I give them a quick spray of Star San before I plug them in to help keep the faucets clean. Something like this is a must have for any faucet IMO, especially with summer/fruit fly season starting up. A very inexpensive accessory for a little extra peace of mind.
