Would be better off dipping your injury in liquid electrical tape.
I ordered this after I got a deep cut on the tip of my finger. I figured it would be a liquid or a gel substance, like the packaging and brand "LIQUID" BANDAGE implies. When I opened it, it was like a plaster-of-Paris type material - It looked like someone took a roll of gauze and ran it thru a meat grinder, then sprinkled on a tablespoon of water and bottled it up. Upon attempting to retrieve some of the mixture, after shaking it, there was no liquid to be seen and the material was hard to get onto the brush. If this is truly the consistency of the material, and i didnt get a bum batch, I would much rather see like a mini spatula type deal for removing the material. Needless to say, faith was lost in the product. After the first application I was seeing areas where it had fully dried and then other areas that were still wet... Mind you, this isnt spray paint on a wall.. This is maybe 1/4" x 1/4" on the tip of my finger.. not a huge area at all... Still, I removed it, and tried a second attempt at a thinner layer. The second attempt wasn't much better and after less than an hour it was already coming off, even though I wasn't using that finger for any activities. Take from this what you will.

My toddler cut his finger and would not leave a bandage on for nothing! This kept it closed and allowed it to heal right up!

Better than the original New Skin for my sensitive skin
I have terribly dry skin and terribly cracked fingers- my thumb, pointer and middle fingers on both hands have multiple cracks and I work with my hands everyday and also play musical instruments. I have tried a lot of therapies like lotions, gloves, finger protectors, sensitive skin bandaids, spray on liquid bandages and also the original New Skin. The original New Skin was heavy duty, however the smell of the product gave me migraines, it turned my fingers yellow and it actually had a burning sensation on my skin so I could not use it. So I’m pretty happy with this new version without alcohol. It is not yellow and does not turn my fingers yellow- it looks sort of like Elmer’s glue but dries clear. It does not burn my skin and has a less unpleasant smell than the original. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it seems like it washes off easier than the original- but it is still an enormous improvement for sensitive skin users. In fact it has become the best solution I have tried so far out of all the methods I previously mentioned.

NEW-SKIN Botanicals Liquid Bandage for Minor Cuts and Scrapes
I'm not sure about for sensitive skin because I don't have sensitive skin. But this is a good product and help with the cuts and seals the cut. But it does string a little.

No sting or unpleasant odor
We use a lot of liquid bandage at our house, so the botanical version intrigued me. It feels more like a lotion. While it neither stings nor smells strongly of chemicals, which I appreciate, it takes a very long time to dry, and the seal, even after several coats, is not as hard-drying as the original counterpart. If you have a small paper cut, this may work nicely without the sting. For other small cuts, etc, I would recommend using the original Nu-Skin formula instead.

Old formula is better
I have used new skin forever but this formulation is not as good as the old. It does not stick, it takes forever to dry and is not durable . The botanical idea I thought would be good but the stinky version works better.
