Good water wand after I had to "remanufacture" it

The wand sprayer seems to be well made except for one fact: On the Shower setting, which is the most useful setting, most of the holes were not properly drilled. I have dismantled the head 3 times and have had to use a pin to ream out the approximately 100 holes, one at a time, Also, when I first dismantled the head, a black substance, which was probably the black plastic in a powdery form from the manufacturing process, got all over the place and since it was wet from water, was almost like black oil. This stuff probably was probably what was plugging up the holes through which the water is supposed to shoot out of the head. Now that I have done my "pin routine" a few times, the wand works well.

One year later, no issues!

Gotta say I highly recommend this unit! I’ve used it daily for a year with no problems whatsoever. I think the folks complaining about it leaking maybe don’t have a hose gasket between the end of the hose and where it connects to the wand, or the gasket has worn out. A while ago mine started dripping and sure enough the gasket had compressed somewhat, so I replaced the hose gasket and it worked perfectly again. Plenty long to reach them out of the way planters, a wide variety of output selections, heck I even like the way it looks. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable watering wand do not hesitate to purchase one of these!

Orbit 36-Inch 9 Pattern Turret Wand 58290, if you order this wand you will not receive the item that is pictured. The shut off value lever is plastic not brass as pictured, also the wand tube is red not black and made from very light weight tubing. As stayed from a question asked what, are the head patterns you said; Lesli, this wand has the following spray patterns: Angle, Center, Cone, Fan, Flat, Flood, Jet, Mist and Shower modes. By Orbit Customer Service MANUFACTURER on June 14, 2017. Not true, the patterns are Rinse, Bucket Filler, Soaker, Shower, Flat and Mist. The cushion grip on the handle is not the same as the picture. Over all you will not receive an item that is what you see on Amazon. Amazon does state that, (These items are shipped from and sold by different sellers), but they failed say item will not be like the one pictured. GC

This works great. I wish i would have gotten one that was more of a handheld one rather than a long "stick", but my husband ordered this before i had chance to tell him my preference.Good buy though and does it job great and i can even use it to wash my car!

9 Patttern Turret Wand

To bad the manufacturer discontinued this wand because it is a real "honey". It has every pattern you could possibly want in a water spray. It is easy to use and easy to change patterns.
