Super Easy

Now that I've tried Normal Speed Clips I will never not use them. They make using crankbaits, jerkbaits and other hard lures so much easier to use. Changing from one color lure to another now only takes a few seconds. No more tying knots and wasting precious time on the water, just a quick clip off and on and I'm back in the water.

Over priced!

Way over priced here on Amozan! Found exact same brand/count locally for $3.99. They seem decent enough so far, quality wise. The more I use them the better I get at it. They can be tricky at first especially when wet, which is all the time.

Confidence killer on holding onto anything over a few pounds

Started using these recently and did well with no issues. Caught a couple of dinks and it handled well. Hooked on to what felt like a 4-5 lber largemouth and it came off. Retrieved my line back and found the hook had slipped out of the clip. Not happy at all and I am no longer fully confident in continue use of these. It's ashame because I really enjoyed the quick lure changes. In my opinion, they need to be stronger as I can easily pinch them together to release. ***UPDATE - 5/9/2021*** I fish almost everyday and continued using these after the initial incident (see original review). It took some time but these have slowly gained back my trust. I've caught a a 5lber, 6lber, and an almost 8lber within the last couple of months. Bumping up to 4 stars.

Easy open and Secure

I love these clips! They are very secure and easy to open. I’ve used several brands of lure clips to help save time a line while cycling through various lures to see what the fish like on a given day. I’ve yet to have a clip bend but getting other brands open can be a hassle and take longer than tying on. These really save time, unlike the others I’ve tried. I also like that they are shaped like a jump ring too. They seem more secure than others and I have real peace of mind when using some of my more expensive lures. I got stuck on a rock during my last trip. I really thought I was going to loose my lure. The clip and my line were strong than the hooks of my lure. The hook bent but the clip was perfect. To me that was the true test!

I've never had one fail

I've used these for years for inshore saltwater fishing and have never had one fail on large fish. They can be a bit hard to open with salt water winkled fingers but are the most secure I have ever used.

Me equivoque

La verdad es que me deje llevar por la imagen sin leer bien lo que realmente el modelo que era. Pues resulta que el paquete incluye 5 piezas nada mas y son de tamaño Mágnum cada clip mide 1 pulgada, es decir que son muy grandes, algo así como para Mar o señuelos muy grandes y pesados. Pensaba regresarlos pero creo no esta demás tenerlos en mi caja de pesca en Mar. Eso me pasa por no poner atencion.
