Very beautiful and easy to assemble

This Westinghouse Lighting 6119400 Danzig Vintage-Style One-Light Indoor Pendant Light looks awesome in my vintage themed shop. The quality is certainly way above the average light fixture and I am quite proud to have it. Assembly is very easy as all you have to do is unscrew the four main screws to take the very thick glass lens off to install a lightbulb. It comes with everything you need to mount it to the ceiling or in my case I wired it into a hand switch and used it as more of an old fashion lamp. This light fixture really has everything going for it from great luxe to world class quality and just looks stunning. I really like it and highly recommend it. I think it is perfect!

Solid, substantial, with evenly distributed task lighting

Made in China, this is an indoor ceiling fixture with an attractive and well-applied finish. Unlike so many ceiling fixtures made of lightweight metal, this fixture is solid and has a substantial feel to it. There's a 60w limit on the single bulb, so it may not be as bright as you'd like for project lighting unless you use an LED source instead of incandescent. With an LED, you can get the brightness up to very acceptable levels, and the prismatic lens works nicely to evenly distribute the lighting.

Insufficient lighting on its own

This pendant is really not enough to function as the sole light for a kitchen table or island. I had hoped to use it over a dining table but it only takes one 60 watt bulb and the light is filtered so that it is very washed out. If you are looking for a candle lit dinner amount of lighting, it could work. I can also see it working well if there were two pendants or if you intend to hang it in the corner of the room to light up a reading area.
