This device is Dimmable. Most of these types of lamp are not “integrated” LED nor are they dimmable.

One thing to remember about this being dimmable LED is that the dimmer switch must also be rated as LED dimmable. If your dimmer switch is rated as LED+ you should have no trouble using it with this lamp. I am replacing a lamp that was dimmer until you got within about 10 feet, and had motion detection, and dusk to dawn. In looking for a replacement I found there are not many lamps that have all those features, and I realized I really only wanted to be able set the brightness level and have dusk to dawn. So, Great Looking! Dimmable! Westinghouse quality! I’m set!

Looks cheap

The vertical tubes need some sort of finishing piece at the bottom, a finial. They look unfinished, like the tubes were just sawed off. Also mounts at a slant from the house, which I can't figure out. I'm hesitant to try bending it straight. As other reviewers have said, finding house lights with frosted glass is hard.

Modern style, affordably

These are good, medium sized light fixtures with a decent amount of modern style and clean lines. I was surprised how much exterior lights with frosted glass and a square shape cost. These are a decent option that don't break the bank. I installed 4 of them in about 3 hours, which included removing the old ones. They were fairly easy to install as far as any light fixture goes. Some not-so-goods: -On all of them, leveling the wall bracket made the light fixture off-kilter. I ended up having to adjust each one once I put the glass shade on because some of them were obnoxiously crooked. Not a big deal, but annoying. -One one of them, where the bracket arm meets the back plate, the coating is crackled and broken up. That one might end up rusty. -The bottom of the fixtures tend to "lean" back in toward the wall. Overall I'm happy.

A Pretty Decent Light

OK, first I'm going to admit to a slight bias here. I'm not a fan of the look of the light BUT it is the best looking option that my HOA would give me for a front light. :) That said, it's not a bad light; solid metal construction, not cheap plastic. Westinghouse has been a solid brand for ages also. As for the drawbacks: First, the housing around the bulb is narrow / small. That makes it hard for anyone with bigger hands to change a bulb without taking the housing off of it's mounting on the upper part. Second, like many lights nowadays, the screws on the mounting bracket are too long. A previous reviewer already pointed out this. It makes it hard to get the lamp to sit flush against the wall. Two options are to get shorter screws at a hardware store, OR use about 6 washers on each side to get it to sit snugly against the wall. I had no issue with the housing being warped or bent like a previous reviewer and mine went together fine. His probably suffered from shipping abuse. The lamp would REALLY benefit from an "off at dawn, on at dusk" sensor also. I got around that by adding one that screws in between the socket and bulb. Overall, it seems like a reasonably well made light though.

So far, so good!

I bought these since they were one of very few dusk-to-dawn lights that looked decent. We had a contractor come by to fix up a bunch of stuff around our house, installing 2 of these lights included, and so I can’t speak to how easy installation was, but it seemed simple enough as he moved quickly. He took out our old lights (that have not been working since we moved into the house 5 years ago) and replaced them with these ones. We have 2 on either side of our garage now and they make a huge difference in lighting up the driveway at night, especially since we live in a pretty dark, quiet neighborhood. We didn’t hook them up to any switches since we didn’t have them available, so they just automatically sense when it’s dark and turn on.

As advertised, wish opening at bottom could accommodate a man's hand.

Set up was straightforward, with a standard 3 wire hook up. It would be nice if all the exterior lighting manufactures would get together on a standard width for the hardware installation, but it did come with everything needed to modify your current configuration. Could have been priced better, but after seeing the prices they're asking for fixtures not as nice as this one at the big box stores, guess you cant complain. So, we give this product 4 stars and once again, Amazon service, 10 stars.
